I just got Dungeons of Dredmor. It's fun and pretty funny too. Only 4 euros (5 dollars?).

Right now I am playing through Neverwinter nights 2 and all the expansions, and switching between getting ships blown up in eve and drunken pvp in wow. I am waiting on Mass Effect 3 and Starwars to come out, and maybe Diablo 3 but I wont hold my breath.

As Naresh pointed out the other day, I've played about eight hours of the Civ 5 demo, simply because I don't have the cash just yet to buy the full version.
__________________Also, if you still haven't experienced it, you need to try out Plants Vs. Zombies. That game...well, it's certainly my favorite, even if it's not "the best". ![]() I also recently acquired Baldur's Gate (the full series) and Super Mario Galaxy. Definitely enjoying BG more than Mario - playing through as a Kensai, and it's a delight and a half, let me tell you - but Mario definitely has its moments (except when the awful camera angles make you fall into a black hole). |

Then I saw a sale ad for it at Greenman Gaming for $20. I snapped it up in February. It was the Steam Version so I just downloaded it. At first it took me awhile to get used to it, but I like it better. Not a fan of the City States, but found you can turn them off. Just checked and they have it for $40. I think it was going for $50 in retail chains. I've been addicted to ZombieFarm for the last 2-3 months. Last edited by Embrodak; 07-18-2011 at 03:03 PM. |

I started BG2 recently, I couldn't get into it as easily as the first, maybe because I started with no spells as a wizard
__________________![]() Civ 5 is still $89 on steam in Australia, crazy people, I can pick it up for a fraction of that back home. Civ 5 is slowly getting better than Civ 4. The recent changes to AI, policies etc are really improving gameplay. Citystates are a key part of the game, there's a whole policy tree to do with them... And a decent number of civs get bonuses from them (like Siam, as in, bonuses on top of befriending city states) City states for me are fun little proxies, shame they change the rules on them though, I always thought it was hilarious to gift them 12 units of uranium, and then force them to go to war with *insert local nation here* I'd come in afterwards and clean up the mess. But the most fun I had was playing as a relatively small nation, I befriended all 20+ city states in my world, so any time someone declared war on me they'd sent a few units off to deal with 20+ harrier nations, giving me enough time and power to expand. I keep thinking a Civ 5 online would be cool, then I remember how long it takes, and no one wants to be glued to the computer on one game like that for over 10 hours... |

Anybody get into Dead Nations, since it was free for PSN/PS3 users?
Been raging a fair bit through the stagest on hard, curious to see how i'll handle the Grim difficulty setting once I get around to it ![]() Other than that, been playing Mass Effect 2 and DA:O, both on the PS3, since both came with almost all of the available DLC. |

If anyone wants to join an Alliance guild on WoW, I'd love to get a few extra people in mine. It's really small right now. Really, really small. There are 2-4 other members who play regularly but a lot of the time it's just me. I'd love to be able to do some guild runs, even if we have to pug for whatever, and have a little company.
__________________I should mention that I won't be playing much in August due to a vacation, but I usually quest a bit most nights. Any class/level welcome as long as you're not a jerk and don't mind a casual guild. Server is Lothar. Pst me (I'm usually on Orddu these days, but my other toons are Fynaar and Desna) and say you're from D&DOG.

Due to my recent computer crash, I'm back to what I was playing a little over two years ago.
