 If you'd like to craft stories and play role playing games
with thousands of people from around the world,
you've come to the right place!
RPG Crossing is a 40,000+ member online community that focuses on play by post role playing games (PBP RPG) and features such systems as Dungeons and Dragons (2e, 3e, 3.5e, 4e, 5e), Pathfinder, GURPS, d20 Modern, Serenity, Star Wars, Storytelling (World of Darkness) and many more. We are an active community with many new games looking for players every day, and with plentiful guides and tutorials for the new player and the veteran alike, including: New Player Solo Games to introduce new players to PBP and/or RPing; and DM Mentoring - a forum full of collaborative DM tools.
We also publish Explosive Runes, a terrific free role playing magazine with stunning artwork and great articles.
Free membership also gives access to our character sheets. We currently host over 82000 sheets for 10 different role playing systems!

Just like every month, you made it hard for the judges to decide on what post to choose as being the one standing out in May. We had read about a failed deception save leading to great inspiration, the reveal of a level-up ability that had been in the making for a while, a well-written post about the insight of a character's thoughts and reasoning, a post about the out-of-the-box twist about a healer needing it owns healing, a game thread opening post that made some heads turn, the song that was dedicatedly written to respect all players in a group and last-but-not-least, an impressive death scene that had a huge impact on the group itself.
Please I can't say it enough --> read them all! hand out RPXP, show these players that you read and enjoyed their posts :-)

Every year, we ask our community to nominate the finest, most exceptional games on this site for inclusion in the prestigious Hall of Fame. It's that time again! What is the Hall of Fame, you ask? Check that out here, including a list of all games inducted.
Drum roll, please! We have new games to add to the ranks of the Hall of Fame for 2021!
This year thirteen games were nominated for Hall of Fame status; the first round of voting narrowed that list to six, and after a final round of voting by our Community Supporters, now we have three new games to induct into the Hall of Fame!

Last call for Hall of Fame 2021 voting!
We have had enough votes to see the community's preference between the games that made it to the final round of Community Supporter voting! That means I will be closing the voting process tomorrow, Saturday, May 15th as planned, at the end of my day (Eastern/New York time). My vote-tally spreadsheet is up to date as of this announcement, so I should be able to announce the winners that evening!
Community Supporters, if you haven't already voted for your favorites, this is the time to get your votes in!
This is going to be the last reminder about Hall of Fame voting, so go vote before you forget!
