RPG Crossing is a 40,000+ member online community that focuses on play by post role playing games (PBP RPG) and features such systems as Dungeons and Dragons (2e, 3e, 3.5e, 4e, 5e), Pathfinder, GURPS, d20 Modern, Serenity, Star Wars, Storytelling (World of Darkness) and many more. We are an active community with many new games looking for players every day, and with plentiful guides and tutorials for the new player and the veteran alike, including: New Player Solo Games to introduce new players to PBP and/or RPing; and GM Mentoring - a forum full of collaborative DM tools.
We also publish Explosive Runes, a terrific free role playing magazine with stunning artwork and great articles.
Free membership also gives access to our character sheets. We currently host over 82000 sheets for 10 different role playing systems!

~ somehow I could swear I posted this, my sincere apologies for the delay ~
Sometimes, a post will turn a story in a different direction. In a way that not only did the character make an impact... but what was written also inspired other players to show their appreciation the well-written post. That is craftmanship!
Exactly that was what happened to ratchett, they wrote a post that made a difference, something that we look for in our quest to show off the 'Post of the Month'.

Without any doubt: CONGRATZZZZZ to NoisePullution!!! their post was praised with many words; 'This is well paced and believable, could be part of a movie script', 'great post and I really liked the engagement with the other PC', 'Just... Wow. This is an excellent, poignant post that delves deeply into character development whilst engaging in the narrative, engaging with the other character, and moving the story forward', 'This is a great example of how to do dialogue in play-by-post without waiting for a response between each line. It's a technique that's really hard to get, and even harder to describe, but this post nails it', 'This may be the best post I've here read this year.'
