July Post of the Month Winner
Aug 14, 2019 - 5:31 PM - by Admin Dirk
July has slipped past, bringing us all closer to a new School Year, and the holiday season. The year is half over!

And although folks took a break from the summer heat (or winter chill), a lot of them were busy writing great posts... and it showed!

Our wonderful gamers saw those posts, and nominated several. And so, it put us judges to work, reading and debating some great game posts!

Among them was this month's winner, Jim Faindel!

Much like his user name, Jim's post was a two part/split post. Make sure to enjoy the bardic poem included, and then dive into part two, filled with even richer details designed to evoke pictures in the reader's mind.

You can read the winning entry HERE, and read all the other nominations (great in their own way too) here.

Congratulate Jim Faindel for the well deserved win, and give a little RPXP love to the other nominees too! They all deserve a read, and some reward!
June Post of the Month Winner
Jul 15, 2019 - 7:14 PM - by Admin Dirk
Well, June is in the books, past history.

And while a lot of gamers may have taken a short vacation from gaming (and gone on a real vacation!), there were several people who stuck to their games, and wrote some awesome posts!

And, lucky for us all, some other folks took the time to recognize them for it, and nominate those posts for Post of the Month honors. That means, we get to read some great game posts!

Among them was this month's winner, Leo Byron!

Take a read of Leo's scene setting post (bring some popcorn too, it will take you a while), and you'll see the same things the judges did... richness in detail, beautiful imagery, quality writing that is writing is just great, entertaining and image provoking.

You can read the winning entry HERE, and read all the other nominations (great in their own way too) here.

Congratulate Leo Byron for the well deserved win, and give a little RPXP love to the other nominees too! They all deserve a read, and some reward!

1000 Graduates of the New Player Solo Games!

The New Player Solo Games program (NPSGs for short) has just marked a full 1000 graduates!

Yes, one thousand players (and counting) have managed to successfully get their brave characters through The Tower Of The Mage Newby, and we're looking for more. It would be hard to thank every volunteer GM who has made this possible, but at present we definitely need to thank zevonian for running the program at full capacity for many years, and chocoladevla and Wynamoinen deserve a shout-out for stepping up to boost us past this first thousand players, with many...
