RPGX Radio Episode #22: What to do after you are accepted into a game!
Jul 06, 2020 - 12:57 PM - by Birched

In what critic(s) call one of their finest episodes yet, Scimmy and kingmonkey discuss what to do when you've (yay!) been accepted to a game.

If everyone listened to this episode, they'd be happier for the 51 minutes they were listening, and then happier in the future if they were to take the great golden nuggets of advice dropped by this unlikely pair.

Seriously.

If you don't believe me, give it a listen!

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, you can catch up with your listening on RPG Crossing's podcast page.

We are happy to announce the publication of the 28th issue of Explosive Runes Magazine!

Once more, our marvelous group of volunteers led by Wodine put together a huge issue, just in time to keep you busy through the summer season (or, to cure your winter doldrums below the equator.) The current issue contains interviews with your fellow gamers, news from around our site, tips and tricks to improve your gaming, fun and games from our tavern, the second in our series of articles about medieval weaponry, another game review, and original artwork from our resident artists, including a cover by JaydenLilith!

If a new issue isn't enough to tide you over you can download a few back issues as well, which you can find on our Explosive... [Read More]
May POTM
Jun 11, 2020 - 5:15 PM - by Admin Dirk
May brought a lot of nominations, which always makes the judges work tough, but fun. We get to ready a lot of good posts (and there were a lot this time), BUT, we have to pick winners, and that's tough.

We all sat down (socially distant, of course... Squeak was there, so no one wanted to be close), and took out our grading pens, and came up with a winner. It was tough, once again... For several judges, it was a tough decision to weed out the best from the also best.

But finally, we decided... and the winner is Elanir! Elanir returns to the contest in fine form with this entry (Elanir was the winner last year in November as well). Just goes to show what you can do with constant practice!

Take some time and read the winning entry HERE, and read the other nominations (great in their own way too) here.

Congratulate Elanir for the well deserved win, and give a little RPXP love to the other nominees too! They all deserve a read, and some reward!

Remember to nominate your favorite post from June in the 2020 competition. Without you, we have no contest!

RPG Crossing Radio episode 17 is out, wherein Scimmy and kingmonkey talk all about hitting it out of the park with application threads.

But you've already listened, right? Because it came out on all those new-fangled podcast apps two days ago. I mean, just because I was slow getting the announcement up, doesn't mean you have to wait.

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, you can catch up with your listening on RPG Crossing's podcast page.
