Prestige Class: The Metallist
The Metallist The Metallist always makes an entrance. Her long hair is flung all over to the rhythm spewed forth by her guitar, and her complexion lit up by the pyrotechnics she invokes. She is mostly disliked due to her odd dedication to noise in all its varieties- if she is not hated, however, she is most certainly revered. Hit Die: d8 Prerequisites: Alignment: Any chaotic Feats: Destructive Rage Skills: Perform(sing) 8 ranks, Perform(music) 8 ranks, Intimidate 7 ranks Special: Rage ability, Inspire Competence, must enjoy actively being noisy, must spend a significant amount of gold on general decadence. The Metallist's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff(Cha), Climb(Str), Concentration(Con), Escape Artist(Dex), Intimidate(Cha), Listen(Wis), Perform(Cha), Profession(Wis), Spot(Wis), Survival(Wis), Swim(Str), Tumble(Dex) Skill points per level: 4+Int Code:

Air Guitar(Sp): A metallist has mastered the chords of nearly all songs, and thus can reproduce the associated motions perfectly. This is very impressive to behold- from now on she does not need an instrument to Perform(music). Song Substitution(Metal): The metallist has found the joys of an entirely different type of music altogether- from now on, she may use Perform(music) instead of an intimidate check, but only when using an instrument. Mosh(Ex): The metallist lets it all go, and gains all the advantages and disadvantages associated with a Frenzy. She may forfeit the effect and instead gain the benefits of the Improved Bull Rush and Improved Trip feats for 3+Con mod rounds, but becomes fatigued afterwards. Magic Guitar(Sp): The metallist can summon a spectral guitar at will. This counts as a masterwork musical instrument, which disappears if it leaves the metallist's hands. Death Metal(Ex): The metallist can wield any guitar as a waraxe with enhancement bonus of +1 per two metallist levels. Solo(Ex): The metallist may perform a solo on a summoned magic guitar 3+Con mod times per day, which lasts 1d4 rounds and grants her a +4 morale bonus to Perform(music).The metallist may not take any actions apart from perform(music) and single move actions while the solo lasts. She counts as fatigued when the solo ends- if she is already fatigued she counts as exhausted. A metallist may not preform solos when exhausted. Reputation(Ex): The metallist's ability has become common knowledge, and mistakes are regarded as originality. Provided she has not made any public blunders for the past two weeks she may now take 10 under all circumstances on Perform(music), but not when performing for a price. Greater Magic Guitar(Sp): The summoned guitar now also includes a bass, and either may be played. The weapon is now regarded as a waraxe one size category larger than the metallist, and does not incur penalties for oversized weapon fighting. It also gives the wielder a +4 circumstance bonus to Perform(music) checks. Improved Solo(Ex): The metallist may now choose to let her solo last 2d4 rounds which grants her a +6 morale bonus to Perform(music). Gig(Sp): This ability allows the metallist to stage a concert in a town, and all inhabitants are drawn to it as if by a Suggestion spell, with a will save of DC 10+ metallist level + Cha modifier. Tickets to see the performance may be free or at a price she sets, with each sp exceeding her class level adding a +1 Insight bonus to a person's save against the suggestion. Mosh Pit(Sp): This ability allows all friendly creatures within 50ft of the metallist (including the metallist herself) to be affected by the Mosh ability. They may take a will save to resist (DC=10+ metallist level + Cha modifier). This is a mind-affecting compulsion effect. ROCK ON!!(Ex): The metallist suffers no ill effects when between -9 and 0 hp inclusively, and is not subject to death by massive damage.

I like it, but I would make the Intelligence range on the Gig ability 3+, with a bunus to their Will save equal to Int modifier...

Just one change: I would have their saves be Fort: Good, Ref: Poor, and Will: Poor. Ref could be Good as well. After all, it does take a fair amount of fortitude to stay in a mosh pit for a while; you can get pretty beat up, and you kinda need decent reflexes to not fall on your ass, although nothing spectacular, really. It just seems to fit the flavor better that way.
