New Plane
The Elemental Plane of Chocolate
Example Chocolate Site: The Dark Chips of Chocolatl A spherical field of dark chocolate chips ranging in size from fine to colossal suspended in a sea of white chocolate, Chocolatl is home to chocolate elementals of all sizes. Players, even if they have a swim speed and do not need to breathe, find it tough going to navigate- their swim speed is one quater of its usual value. Only those with Freedom of Movement or Chocolate Glide can move at their full speed. Furthermore, eyes are redered useless in the gloop- only nonvisual senses may be used for navigation. The chocolate elementals native to Chocolatl survey any trespassers, and co-ordinate their attacks, striking in vast numbers in order to overwhelm the intruders. A massive chip of dark chocolate resides in the centre, it's gravity holding all the other pieces in orbit. The consistency of this piece of chocolate is that of a maze. It is rumored that at the very core lies a chunk of chocolate so tasty that even deities would be interested in it. So far, no-one had even come close to the heavily-guarded core... New creature: Chocolate Elemental This creature stands well above you in height. It's brown body pulsates with strange currents and it's skin is covered in white, black and brown chips. The chocolate elemental can assume one of two forms- that of an earth elemental or that of a water elemental assuming the abilities for an elemental of that size and type, the difference being that both forms are made entirely of chocolate. This means that their respective abilities become chocolate-oriented. If a chocolate elemental takes fire damage in Earth form or cold damage in Water form, it must make a fortitude save or revert to its other form as well as taking 1.5x damage (DC= damage dealt). Shifting between forms is a standard action which lets the creature recover its hit dice worth of damage. New feat: Chocolate Substitution [metamagic] Prerequisites: Caster level 5th, Knowledge (the planes) 8 ranks Your knowledge of the Plane of Chocolate has given you the ability to imbue your spells with chocolate. Benefit: This feat affects the spell by changing its effect to create chocolate. For example, the caster creates a wall of chocolate instead of a wall of ice, and can summon chocolate elementals with Summon Monster. Their repertoire also includes Flesh to Chocolate, Create Chocolate and so on. Normal: Your spells function as per their description.

New creature: 3 Musketeers Bar
Size/Type: Tiny Construct Hit Dice: 1d12 (6 hp) Long live the d12! Initiative: +0 Speed: 0 ft. Armor Class: 12 (+2 size,) Base Attack/Grapple: +10 Attack: - Full Attack: - Space/Reach: -. Special Attacks: Poison, Alluring Gaze Special Qualities: Low fat Saves: Fort +6, Ref +3, Will +2 Abilities: Str -, Dex -, Con -, Int -, Wis -, Cha 15 Skills: Melt in Glove Compartment +8, Disguise +8* Feats: Uncanny Chocolate on Chocolate Taste Environment: Checkout Aisles Organization: Solitary or case (24-36) Challenge Rating: No one has ever successfully defeated a 3 Musketeers Bar so we don't know. Treasure: Check under wrapper Alignment: Always neutral evil Advancement: - Level Adjustment: - *the 3 Musketeers Bar gains a +40 bonus to disguise checks when disguising itself as a snickers or milky way bar. Of all creatures adventurers can face the 3 Musketeers Bar is perhaps the worst. Because of natural camouflage the 3 Musketeers Bar often fools adventurers into thinking it is a Snickers or Milky Way. But unlike the Snickers or Milky Way the 3 Musketeers is pure evil and contains a powerful poison. A 3 Musketeers Bar usually begins combat by trying to disguise itself as another candy bar. Alluring Gaze (EX) When a 3 Musketeers Bar fails to convince its prey that it is not a 3 Musketeers Bar it can use its Alluring Gaze. The prey must succeed at a will save (DC 30) or began thinking thoughts such as "I bet it'll taste good this time," or "But it looks soooo much like a Snickers", the prey is unable to leave the area of its own free will until five minutes later, when the prey must succeed at another will save (DC 40) or try to consume the 3 Musketeers Bar. Improved Grapple (Ex) To use this ability, an 3 Musketeers Bar must convince a character to consume it. Once in a characters mouth they immediately recognize the bar for what it is and began to spit it out. The character however must succeed at a grapple check against the 3 Musketeers Bar or the bar will force itself down the characters throat. Poisoning the character. Poison (Ex) After forcing itself down a character throat that character must make a fortitude save (DC 40) or die instantly, secondary damage is a slightly meaty taste in the mouth (no save). Characters who have survived encounters with 3 Musketeers Bar gain a +2 cumulative bonus on all saves and checks against the bar. Last edited by mindstation; Jan 19th, 2006 at 06:22 PM. |
