Hey, all. I'm back. I owe you guys an explanation.

For the first couple days, it was honestly just laziness and procrastination. I have no excuse for that. Then, through Father's Day weekend, I was with my dad. I don't see him much, so he was my first priority. From Tues. to Thurs, I was hanging out with a friend who had gotten an infection from a spider bite, and I wanted to make sure he was alright before I cam home. And, yesterday, I was dealing with a personal crisis that I thought would last a lot longer than it did. (Everything's alright now, though.)

I'd say more, but I have games to post in!

I'll keep this brief.

I've a couple of friends who are at the point where I'm not sure if they will still be around when I wake up each morning. The issues are myriad and diverse.

I like to play healer characters, but I've got some real-world healing to do, and it has to take priority, so I'll be gone for at least a few days or a week up to indefinately, taking care of some people who really need it.

It is now the end of an era in my life. I’m just not enjoying the world of DnDOG as I once did. I just got my first full time job and now I have less free time. I have enjoyed this site for two and a half years. I will miss it. Maybe someday I’ll come back to it but for now I’m saying good-bye. I wish you all the best.

For those who noticed, hopefully not many, I'm not in too many games right now, I'm sorry for my absence. Tired, then a cold, then preparing for an interview, then really tired.

Yeah, not much of an excuse, but maybe it's the needing my eyes closed so much in summer that makes me so tired. But I'm back for now!

The time has come to rejoin a great community. I have missed this place greatly and am now looking forward to returning.

Real life has been a bitch to say the least but friends have helped me muddle through!!! It is good to be back to a place that once meant so much to me. Many of my good friends have long since moved on from here but hopefully many new friends will be made.

To put it very simply, my heart has not been in DNDOG. My passion and inspiration has waned in light of realizing that I am approaching my final year of high school. I have pulled away in favor of other interests, and straightening out some RL stuff. While I'm going to try to get back into my old games, I'll be honest, a lot of them were started on compulsions, whims, and I find it hard to hold interest. I will continue to attempt to keep these games alive, but there is something, a game, that has been on my mind since I left, and I need to put as much effort into it as possible.
