Round 3; Match 1: ValidUserName vs Melchior

For our first match of the semi finals, we welcome back ValidUserName, the Valid Challenger! He recently defeated the picturesque Arucard 3-0 with his Pathfinder tale, "Shifting Loyalties", but that was not his first clean sweep with the judges! No, "The Hound Master Trial", another Pathfinder adventure, destroyed the Shining challenger, goplayer7, in an equally clean 3-0 sweep. Does Valid have what it takes to snatch another clean victory, or are the shadows around his opponent too hard to pierce?

ValidUserName's opponent this time is Melchior, the Mysterious Challenger! Melchior also wants a shot at the title of Iron DM 2011, and will not put up an easy fight! Last round, he defeated Cedric'c dancing tale with "'Til Death Do Us Part", a3.5e DnD adventure. Melchior used the same system to win against Uruz with "Lest Darkness Fall". Neither victory was as clean as ValidUserName's, but does that mean Melchior had a tougher challenge to get here? We shall see soon, when Mystery and Validity come crashing together!

Round 3; Match 2: Illya vs idilippy

For our second match of the semi finals, we have Illya , the Medical Challenger! Those she has defeated recently include Storm and Peter172, with the paragon 4e adventure, "True Believers". A score of 3-0 is impressive, but she also has the unique privilege of having the only tied vote from a judge in this season so far! "The Key to Forgiveness", a lower level 4e adventure, bested Baxter, and netted Illya her first win of the competition. Will she be able to move through to the final round, or will the reigning champion see her barred from further practice in this competition?

The winner of the 2010 Iron DM competition, the current title-holder, and the reigning champion, idilippy, has shown us that it was not an accident that he won last year's title. With his Pathfinder story, "Masked Intentions", he defeated the machine that was Aeternis; and idilippy, like Illya, defeated both pureWasted and Roland of Gilead with a single, well-written adventure: "Threads of Madness". Now that last year's champion is up against the Medical Challenger, how will things turn out? Who will step forward, and who will be sent home sick??

Round 4; The Grand Finale! Melchior vs Illya

What a round we had, with close competition in each match, and the dethroning of our previous year's winner! Now, it is safe to say that either Melchior, the Mysterious Challenger, or Illya, the Medical Challenger, will be named "Iron DM 2011"! You have seen their histories before, just where will their stories end?

Will Illya's love for 4e Planescape be able to pull forth a fourth win? Will Melchior be able to craft another winning 3.5e setting? Just how many judges can we expect to weigh in on this, the most important voting for the final round?
