[Game Thread] Chapter 4: Noble Intentions

[Chiscringle]

The prince's pupils grow enormous and he sways. "Yes, you can help. I'll do what I can to make sure you're successful."

[Meiou]

"You only had to spell it out for him to understand."
He says and makes note of the snickering of the lagomorph.
he hadn't thought such jokes would be gotten here.

[Lagoman]

"You see? Isn't everything better when we all get along?" Hugo shrewdly replies.
"You want the final piece, and I want the other half. That is to say, I have a subordinate trying to create a powerful love potion, but he seems to be missing one of the components. Would you know anything about that, prince?"

[Meiou]

"he's still trying to do that? "
he ask's hugo.

[Lagoman]

"Never did get it right." Hugo replies bitterly.

[Chiscringle]

"What, love potion?" The prince shakes his head, looking annoyed and as if he might break the enchantment. "What are you talking about? Are you going to get me the Finger or not?" He seems more petulant than angry, as if any discussion beyond how you intend to get him what he wants is irrelevant. He also doesn't seem the type to understand alchemy.

[Lagoman]

"Yes yes, fine. I don't know what I was thinking." Hugo replies, seeing that any line of conversation other than getting him what he wants is going to lead to a dead end.

"Do you know where the finger is?"

[Chiscringle]

"Princess Felicia has it." He tells them. "I haven't ... thought of how I plan to get hers now that everyone knows I'm after it. Everyone will be guarding it, and she might even hide it somewhere else so I can't take it by force. I think Lien had an idea, but she wouldn't tell me what she planned to do."

[Meiou]

"I have this feeling I might be playing a different princess
at the rate this plans going. Well couldn't be any worse than playing Lien. "

[Lagoman]

"I have a friend who might be able to help us." Hugo says, withdrawing and snapping the twig which summons the lesser of the three witches.

[Chiscringle]

A waterspout swirls around the broken twig, ripping it from Hugo's grasp. The vortex grows until it encompasses the center of the room, and then dissipates to reveal a tan, beautiful woman in a tattered dress that covered nothing it ought to. "Hey, gorgeous. What's your wish?" She asks in a honeyed voice. The young prince looks like he'd be drooling if he were above water, but his first motion towards her leaves him on the other side of the room, shaking his head after having it slammed against the wall. "Not you, hon." The hag remonstrates gently. "Let the big girls talk."

She moves to Hugo's side without a motion of her limbs, but when she reaches her, she drapes herself over Hugo. "I hope you called me because you got bored, beautiful. I certainly have been." She pulls Hugo's ears down and wraps them around her neck.

Witch! Want! Hugo's forgotten how enchanted the Guise is with the hag.

OOC Will Save DC 16 to keep the Guise from making the wish instead.

OOC I think that leaves you with the middle witch still to call at some point?

The lien imposter shuddered at seeing the witch remembering
her first trip down into the water and having to bargain with
it to get out.

[Lagoman]

ooc actually the most powerful witch is left.

[Lagoman]

ooc will save, have a feat that increases will saves, not sure by how much. Unsure of modifiers.
