Arran is ready for review. Aside from names for Arran's family, I need specific questions from anyone willing to read it over and point out the potential holes.
Frankly, I thought that should be the fire giant. I remember in past editions that the storm giant had either blue skin and blonde hair or green skin and greener hair.
Also, that looks exactly like Ganondorf, now that you point it out. I haven't played Ocarina of Time in so long...That guy also looks a bit top heavy. Long arms, barrel chest, comparatively small legs. Good for knocking over.

I saw Felix when I was helping out in the tavern. He was telling tales of dragons and monsters. I... I think he's a good person. He laughs a lot, and has a good voice, and he doesn't seem to mind who he's talking to, but why would anyone want to actively seek out a dragon? Unless, of course, it's threatening his home. I suppose stopping a dragon would make sense, then.
See the dragon slayer ride / to chase after a dragon's flight. / A hero him, without a fright / who rides alone on moonlit night.
Hmm. No, this needs some more refinement before I can use it for a song. I think he'd like it, though.
I have never seen something... I'm sorry, someone like Orrin! He seems gentle and wise. I like him. I would like to talk more with him, I think he can teach me a lot.
A heart of stone? Of gold, you mean / Or may be something in between? / A secret heart kept under lock / for what is gold but just a rock?
I just wish I knew how to approach him without seeming rude. He looks so centered, so balanced, I... I don't want to disturb him.
Barnabus seems like a braggart. I don't know what to make of him. He's charming, but I feel his words are hollow. I cannot tell if he's genuine or just running an elaborate swindle.
Share the tales and share the stories / one day you will find your glories / The giant-bloods' down on their luck / for here he comes, Lord Clutterbuck!
Well, it feels unfair for me to judge a man's character so, but... I don't think I can trust him. He speaks too much, and shows too little. His tales are very inspiring though. I will certainly make something out of this.
Asgeirr follows a strange one-eyed God, apparently. Iomedae's teachings did not mention him, but I admit we're mostly focussing on the practical applications. He seems to be jovial and a good drinker and fighter. I think he would be a good companion to have by your side, even though his God is strange and alien.
Where flies the one-eyed crow? / She sees more than we'll ever know. / Where flies the one-eyed crow? / No one but the Gods will know.
I should probably make this into a drinking song. I think it'll go well in the Ramblehouse.
When Sky came to Trunau, she was a bit scary. She still is scary, when she gets that fire in her eyes and that look on her face. I don't think she knows that she's doing it. I like her tattoos. They are very pretty.
Of sun's own fire, / of spirits higher, / the dance of winds / she'll still admire.
I think she sometimes screams at night, but she never talks about it.
When Hrotha joined us for sword-practice for the first time, I admit I was intimidated. I am still ashamed that I felt this way - I like her alot. I even managed to defeat her, once! That was unexpected for both of us, and we were both so surprised we shared a giggling fit. That felt good, because she is so... focussed sometimes. Everything's a competition to her.
Gentle heart so fierce, so proud / With a laugh so big, so loud / Striving champion of the light / With yellow eyes aglow at night.
Oh no, that won't do. I need to change that. She does not like being reminded of her eyes, and I... well, I really don't want to see her hurt. She is my friend, and I don't care about the rumours about her.
I... I wonder if I should be more like Eghan. He's a storyteller and a proper bard, but he's also brave and courageous. I've once seen him take on three men in a barfight, all on his own! Can I be as brave as him? I don't know. I suppose I have to be, someday. Even if he did lose that fight, he stood up again, grinning and congratulating the others.
Fists of fury, voice of gold / Teller of the tales untold / Traveller so young, so bold / Willing to face terrors old.
I wonder if tales of dragons and battles are everything that is driving him.
I am glad Makkari returned to Trunau! I did not expect to see him again, and certainly not as a permanent visitor! As he is found often with the city guard, and my duties take me to temple and Ramblehouse, we do not cross paths very often, but I enjoy talking with him and learning about all the places he has visited.
Though with scars of night and fear, / Triumphant glory in his heart! / Hear a tiger's roaring near / Never to part. Never to part.
His animal companion Osta looks fierce, but I feel there is no danger from it. It is a creature of true beauty, and I enjoy simply watching it.
Sophitia is very pretty. But she doesn't seem to like people. I know she's only here for a very short time, but I also know she already got a very generous meal from Cham Larringfass simply by smiling at him coyly. I saw her though, and the smile disappeared as soon as his back was turned. She does have a beautiful voice, and she is the most exotic human I have ever seen, but I don't think she is a very nice lady or that her intentions are good.
Coldest beauty, fairest smile / Wouldst beware her wit and guile / For should you not lock heart and soul / You'll likely fall in blackest hole.
I... I hope she leaves Trunau soon, for whatever she's searching for. I fear she'll bring trouble. She seems dangerous.
Kyra is stunning. The way she moves is like a song, the way she fights is like a dance. I watched her square off against Hrotha in a practice match. She's incredibly fast!
Perfect calm, a windless lake / Faster than a coiled snake / Perfect poise, unique snowflake / Never speaks a lie awake.
She... she always seems so confident. I hope she'll find her brother.
Oh! Sittania is really beautiful. And pretty. There's a difference. I... um... I mean... well, she would be even prettier if she smiled more often. Or at all, really. But she's really beautiful even without smiling.
Forest eyes and gold-kissed hair / She's beautiful, the maiden fair / And though her mouth no smile does share / I'd follow her to anywhere.
I... um... no, I am not going to share this with anyone. I do wonder what... what will make her smile, though? A life without joy in a heart seems such a wasted life, for what else is there worth fighting for? I wonder... I wonder if she likes flowers.
Why change? Halflings could have encouraged him to pursue his paladin dreams...? Everything else in your application can apply for any race, so why not stay halfling? There's only two others in the applications.
If it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't picture halflings doing what Arran's family did to him, he'd be one too.
Indranna is a small woman with bright flaming red hair with orange and yellow highlights. Her trim figure is curvy underneath her flowing robes that are slit along the legs allowing for freedom of movement. Her lustrous bronze skin shines under the light framing her sparkling golden eyes that seem to bore into your soul delving you darkest secrets.
Indranna is a gregarious person who is oddly afflicted with moments of shyness, especially after she finds out that she has again been duped because of her eternal gullibility. She likes people and is adventurous in most aspects of her life. Her profession as the town scribe causes her to travel from time to time and she loves it. She does get into occasional trouble by going out of her way to help people she sees in need of help, which has gotten her into hot water more than once.
Belief 1 Indranna believes that all people should be able to live their lives without the fear of death or loss from the ravages of evil creatures. Belief 2 Indranna also believes that most creatures are inherently good and just want to make a good life for themselves and their families.
Goal 1 (Player): Indranna wants to see all evil creatures permanently banished to the nether realms where they can't harm any good person ever again. Goal 2 (Character): Indranna loves her life. Being able to stay home and do her studies and being able to travel to see new places and people all combine to enrich her life. She does however yearn to be a bigger part of the forces of good as they take the fight back to the evil that so prevails in this world.
Fear 1: Indranna knows that she is capable of great things, but her fear of failure and of letting good people down stays her from truly joining most serious fights against the forces of evil. Fear 2: Indranna sees perfectly in the dark, but one day while in her basement an earthquake caused the ground to rumble knocking over a bookcase that blocked the door. The basement is not large and the confining nature of being stuck underground in such a small space has developed a great claustrophobia and fear of being buried alive.
Indranna was born of flame and fiery passion to a dark skinned human druid and a Peri that had been working together for a long time after some Divs had attacked and razed a village not far from her father's grove. Indranna's mother stayed with her father for a while, but soon was off to continue her eternal fight against the hated Divs. Her father loved and cared for Indranna teaching her the best he could, when it became apparent that he did not know near enough to contain his daughter's limitless curiousity he made arrangements for her to get formal schooling first in Vigil and ultimately in Absalom. Indranna grew to maturity and graduated from her schooling and moved back home with her father. Life was good for Indranna helping her father tending his grove and occasionally fighting off poachers or goblins, until the day came that brought about the orc horde. They came through marching to somewhere else but stopped long enough to raze her father's grove and attack the small nearby village. Her father died in the battle trying to help the villagers escape the orc horde. After her father's death, Indranna wished nothing more than to make the orc's pay. Her vengeance was almost the end of her. Using her natural gifts of fire magic, Indranna set ablaze a whole camp of the orcs only to almost be killed by an outriding patrol coming back to investigate the smoke. Managing to escape with her life, she traveled back to Vigil to talk to the wizard's guild there for advise. During her time in Vigil, she joined the Wizards guild and trained some more. Her time there was not all bad though, her vengeance still burned in her soul but it was tempered by a monk there who counseled her on the drawbacks of working off of vengeance alone. Fearing that she may have been losing herself to her need for vengeance and sacrificing her father's memory on that alter of fear, Indranna traveled the land selling her scribing services for passage. During her travels, she learned that the best way to honor her father's memory was by doing good and helping others. One caravan brought her to Trunau and here see fell in love with the people and the land. Deciding to settle here and do what she could to help the people of this area has become her mission in life. The way her father had his grove that he tended, she has her village that she helps to the best of her ability.
Indranna lives in Trunau now for the last 15 years or so. She is the town scribe (or one of them). She came to Trunau after her fathers death that caused her to be on her own. Coming to Trunau on a merchant caravan that she was using for travel while she penned some documents for the caravan master, she found that she like the place and settled here after the caravan left.
