So etiquette question. Should I avoid the Legends of the Hidden Temple style expedition if it comes up or would it be totally different? I was never clear on how much of the West Marches world was made up on the fly

After chatting with some other soon-to-be members, we more or less have a pre-made group ready with a mission concept.

Question for the DMs: I'm interested in the Hermit background, but I'm curious what sort of things that "Discovery" the background could refer to in this campaign, and who I would work with to flesh that out. I'm not feeling too picky about it - I'm mostly in it for the whole "used to live in seclusion in the woods" flavor for my hedge wizard character.

Do characters need to be approved, or is it just "Roll Up and Go"?

Hey everyone, looking forward to getting back into this! I'm going to be rolling a new character. With the stats I rolled here (the 7th attempt, labelled roll 4, I shouldn't be doing this while half asleep!). Looking at those rolls, I think I'll be going with a cleric, something heavily armoured to offset that terrible dex. I'll get a character posted in the morning then start looking for a group.

Please don't delete rolls guys. If it is a scrapped roll, just throw it in a spoiler.

And you need to add the dice tag to those rolls.

I didn't delete the roll, the page deleted the one I had before. It was 8, 17,15, 11, 12, 10. How do I do now?

Do we have to receive acceptance of our character application before we can go into town and start talking to people in the tavern? My app is now complete so not sure what happens next.
