As she lay dying, Kilrik swore an oath in blood that her three pups would survive, or he would die trying to protect them. The Horror, Named by KilrikTikbalang, has promised suffering to Kilrik and indirectly threatened the wolves, and this item will likely assist the young Beastmaster in his efforts protect and raise the pups. Current Thread: Rank 1 tied to Physical Defense, Pattern Thread Condition: Protect the three wolf-pups.

The first one to be Named by Kilrik, a name of fear and mistrust, according to the demands of Tikbalang. Phayeel looks much like her brother, Dirfang, except below Phayeel's eyes are two small, thin curling patches of dark fur, and she is quite small in comparison to Dirfang.

Dirfang, the largest of the litter, looks almost exactly like his mother, with pure white across his entire body.

Warlthuz
left-aligned image
Warlthuz is the middle son, slightly smaller than Dirfang. Unlike his sister and brother, however, his fur is only white under the muzzle and across the belly. His ears, the top of his head, and his back has a grey mixture in the guard hairs, making him the most easily discerned of the three.

Zochor and Jorank Zochor is an old ork that Kilrik met on the way to Three Rivers. He and his kin, the mute Jorank - likely a nephew or son - gave Kilrik a boat ride and an invitation to a wedding, that of Zochor’s daughter, Irgin. Of course, Kilrik would have to return from his long trek up the mountains if he wished to attend.

RynneA swordmaster adept who wields no weapon, Rynne was little more than a terrified human when Kilrik (who called himself Durvin) first met her. She told Kilrik a wild tale of her order, the Guides, who had sent her on a crucible to prove her worth when she met a Horror. The Horror marked her and corrupted her, leading Rynne to believe she was being hunted down and followed, as well as cursing her with periodic, uncontrollable fits of frenzied panic. Rynne led Kilrik to a den that she thought may belong to the wolves he sought, before leaving to return to her order in the hope that they could lift the Horror’s corruption from her.
