Hmm... I didn't really dig the second season and was not excited for the third... but now you've gone and turned my world upside down! Plus there isn't much else out there that I'm watching. I'll give it another shot.

I'd recommend starting at the start again, and try to remember all the twists

 

The two big ones being Stubbs being a host, which has interesting changes right back to Season 1; and Dolores-as-Hale, which changes much of season 2.

A bit confusing as I haven't watched since season 2 ended.
Thankfully the after episode explained alot.

who do you think is inside the Hale host?

I thought we might have some time-confusion there, with the Hale-host storyline actually being three months earlier, but they converged that, so she was forgetting her son *three months* into her ruse...

Question Who was disappointed with the third season of Westworld? I was - finished my watch a little while ago, but wanted to give a bit of space for 'spoiler' reasons....so, what did you think?

I liked where it was going.
The concept of the AI choosing the best path for humanity's interest.
I liked Aaron Paul's addition.

But it was Meh...
Like I've seen it before.. Besides some of the choreographed fight scenes, it wasn't memorable.

Some of the Characters just didn't seem right.

There was something off, I didn't buy the motivations.

And the bridges!

It was like they only had one foot bridge, but wanted to have five different scenes, so repeated it over and over again.

Yeah, I wanted to like it, and there were some great bits (when it clicked that

 

Dolores had 'cloned' herself

was great...but aside from that, it didn't work. Why did only Hale "break"? Why were her new actions / desires so different from the others? Indeed, it would have made more sense for

 

Hale to be the original, since Dolores came out of Westworld in Hale's body...

People seemed too eager to change their personality / goals to fit the plot. It was way too easy to get the orb things out of westworld, or to destroy them, or to get back in...

So yeah, motivations didn't work well.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the EMP should have fried more than it did...

Question Is anyone else playing Super Fantasy Brawl? I backed the first kickstarter, and returned for the second one (just now). Quite a fun game!
