"Hey Choomba! Nice to see you again. Man, it would be so cool if you got the band playin' back here again! Dios mío! That would be epic, mi amigo! Anyway, I gotta go and...you know. Keep it real and keep it safe." Zorro emphasised the word safe and gave Rex a strangely caring look. "Mr Frost will be here shortly. Peace Choomba!" Zorro held up his hand to Rex as he turned and left, a loud Scchhlliiiiick! and a thump emphasising the door sliding shut behind him. OOC: Gonna wait until Hal gets back to post then ill move this on so RP amongst yourself if you wish.

About to introduce himself to the one called Niú on the streets (a quick NETcheck revealed nothing telling about her) he was interrupted by the repeated entry of Zorro and new strangers. Always one to appreciate an audience, Zek held off until the last person, a rocker he knew he should know but was having a hard time placing, entered.
"I'm sure you all recognize me, "he said looking around the room of strangers. If he saw a lack of recognition on anyone's face it didn't seem to phase him or soften his brilliant smile. "Zekvids are all the rage. Any Zekobites in the room? No? Well anyway, you can call me Zek." He was energetic as he talked, hands moving and his coattails flaring as he twisted to look at each person. The observant folks would have noticed the stylized red and white grip of a weapon on his hip. It was at that moment the had his red LED techoscroll turned back on, taking up the shoulder strip on his purpletrenchcoat. "My works out there. Worth a look." He didn't take the next step of asking who everyone was, relying on his cyber eye to take a snap of a few of them and doing a quick agent search. He was energetic and outgoing but lived by the motto 'trust after you verify'.

"Zekhedz. Yeah, tried that out a while back but didn't have the zing I was looking for." He made a flippant gesture, a bit wave and of a bit snap as he dismissed that thought. "I got all types that follow my vids. Lot of folks like jacking in to the truths Zekvids share over the stream. Rattle the cage or find yourself locked inside one." This last was said to Scraps with a wink and a half smile.
"You're famous yourself, arent you frontman? Technosynth (this said as he mimicked holding a headset to his ear and pumping his head to the beat) is more my speed but props to anyone putting themselves out there." Dropping his voice to a more personal level he spoke in a more serious, direct manner. "I don't do celebrity pieces but would love to put one out there exposing the way the music biz is based on hooking artists on lace and smash. We can talk, tell your story and get you some likes. Let me know." Some people in the room could be interesting to look into further. A corp shill, a rockerboy, a fixer or two. Once he knew the job he might reach out to some contacts, see if there was any traffic about these folks that he could do something with. For now he'd keep up the show. Always a good way to get people to loosen up and let their guard down. That's when things slipped. Some of his best vids came from jumping on a slip up. ![]() It seemed like you had been waiting for hours, when if fact it was closer to forty minutes. Nevertheless, none of you like waiting around, well Rex was happy until he finished the last of his beverage, and time was dragging. Where was this Frost guy anyway!? Te door slid open with its now familiar scraping sound and a tall, brazen woman strutted in, her hair shaven on one side and a fat cigar half chewed, half smoked, hanging from her lips. Cocksure as she was she flicked the remainder of her cigar into a dark corner. Attention was peaked that you would finally find out what the hell this shitty gig was. That was, unti the woman spoke. "Whaz the goods, Choombas! I'm Lynx." It wasn't Frost and shoulders slumped and groans were emitted. The atmosphere in the room now felt flat compared to what it was when the first arrivals entered. Even the holographic Koi was looking glum. About 10 minutes after Lynx joined the mood aquarium, the door slide open once more. A handsome man stood in the doorway dressed like a million Eddies. Designer glasses framed his angular face and he wore a knee length leather trench coat, it looked real but surely it couldn't be? those things cost a fortune. He stood there for a moment, silently as he scanned the forms scattered around the red room before him. Behind him was a shadowy figure that stood a good two feet taller then he. "Fu*k!" He exclaimed and turned around and left, the door sliding shut behind him. Moments later, muffled shouting could be heard from outside. "Fu*king six!? Thats it!? I am supposed to be getting a whole new crew together and you bring me six! You fu*king meat head motherfu*ker! I need six you moron! I didn't say bring me six! You were s'posed to set this up so i could pick the best of 'em. Jeezus christ!" "Mmmmpphhhh mmmmpphh ggrrr mmmmph mphhhh mmmmmm" came an incoherent response from the other figure. "Do I look like I give a sh!t!?? F*ck me, Marlon! What choice do I have now, huh!? If these gonks aint up to scratch Candy is gonna have my fu*king head on a spike!" "MMmhhhuuu mmphhhmmm mpphhmmm" came a retort. "Oh fu*k off! No, not literally you oversized goon! Stand here and watch the door!" The conversation ended and the door slid open again and the same man stood in the frame, this time all smiles and arms outstretched in welcome. ![]() "My friends! Choombas! Amigos.....whatever! Welcome, welcome. I am so sorry to keep you waiting, had some biz to take care of. I am Frost." Frost clapped his hands together and strode to the centre of the round sofa and sat in its middle. "I am so glad my message reached out to so many of you, I trust your journey to Blueys' was a pleasant one? Who wants a drink? You wanna a drink? Ill order some..." From behind his glasses, Frost right eye glowed red briefly before returning to what one would consider its normal state. As each member present introduced themselves, Frost gave them full focus, engaging in small talk and it was apparent the man had a fair amount of charisma to supplement his handsome looks. Soon, when the drinks arrived, it was time to get down to serious business. "Listen up, chooms. My man down Del Rey has a package that he can no longer deliver. He has issues with the floodwaters backing up into his pipes and his condo is getting flooded with shitty water. You know, the kind of pipes should be taking away from a thunderbox, not pumping back into a living space. Anyway, i digress. He needs to sort that sh!t out. literally. There is a drop box at the Metro station on Clink Street. He has parked the package there for collection. Now listen up and listen good. The client has not revealed to me what is in the package, nor do I ask. I suggest you do the same. No questions - it has some military grade security on it so bear in mind two things. One, it must be very fu*king valuable or important and two, don't go try'na open it. If you do, thats my head and yours. And I like my head on my shoulders." Frost took a small canister from his jacket pocket, popped the lid and shook out two small white pills into his other hand. Quickly dispersing them into his mouth, he washed them down with the glass of Tequila before him. "This package needs to be taken across town to Watson. Its a big motherfu*ker so I hope you got wheels. There is a hospital, southside in Little China called Wang Tao Medical Centre. Its on Wang Tao Boulevard funnily enough. There is a rear entrance, you'll have to go round the back alley to reach it where a security guard will reach you and let you in the storage facility underneath the hospital. Unload the package there in the loading bay and await the guard to verify it. Thats it. " Frost took another sip of his Tequila. "You gotta be there for delivery between 1am and 3am. No later, no earlier. Its pretty hard to fu*k this up, so don't!" Frost then stopped speaking and sat back in his seat, his hand rubbing his cleanly shaven chin. "Oh, and of course, payment for your troubles. £$1000 each. And I dont do up front payments so don't ask. Do this job right, you get paid and who knows, it may open some more doors. I need six runners, and well...the magic number!" he added, gesturing to all of you. "Any questions?"
