Morumi Name: Morumi < ------- Character Sheet Link Race: Half-orc Class: Fighter (Rune Knight) Appearance/Description in Brief: At 5'11" tall, and 231lbs of solid muscle the halberd across her shoulder, chain mail armor, twin throwing axes on her hips and warhammer on her back suit her just fine. Past/Background as shared with others in Group: Morumi says she hails from Sundabar, though she doesn't speak of family. She joined 'The Bloodaxes' at the young age of 14 where she was trained to fight. The Bloodaxes are a two centuries old Mercenary company originally founded by a group of outcast Dwarves who began hiring themselves out as mercenaries. Since then, it has obviously broadened its membership to other races, but it seems to cater to exiles, criminals, and misfits exclusively. The Mercs treat each other as family for sure. Morumi ended up on the coast after being hired on as float guards to protect cargo coming down the river from Sundabar. After that, her Merc band was hired on to investigate why a lighthouse down the coast had gone dark. They cleared it of a Hag and her minions, but at great cost since she was the only surviving member. Not wanting to make the trek back to Sundabar, she joined up with the rest of this adventuring band. X-X-X Mercenary Veteran Background Trait #1 I can stare down a hellhound without flinching. The Devil's Child NAME: Puer Diaboli RACE: Tiefling CLASS: Celestial Warlock (Chain) DIETY: Ilmater (C/G) FAMILIAR: Randall (Imp)   Bad Reputation: No matter where you go, people are afraid of you due to your reputation. When you are in a civilized settlement, you can get away with minor criminal offenses, such as refusing to pay for food at a tavern or breaking down doors at a local shop, since most people will not report your activity to the authorities. Traits: I see omens in every event and action. The gods try to speak to us, we just need to listen. I feel tremendous empathy for all who suffer. Ideals: Aspiration. I'm going to prove that I'm worthy of a better life. (Any) Bond: No one else is going to have to endure the hardships I've been through. Flaw: My upbringing tends to lead me to believe every story of mistreatment or abuse.   Puer is a mature, healthy, attractive man with weathered, tanned skin and black hair. But no one notices that. Not with 2 upright curved horns spouting from his head and yellow eyes with slit pupils. Tieflings are still hated, feared, and targeted in the Sword Coast and Puer's upbringing was no exception. So his bearing is of one who has received (and given) many a beating and people give him a wide birth. Adrie Evenwood Name: Adrie Evenwood Race: Half-elf (Chondathian/Moon Elf) Class: Bard (College of Lore) Appearance: Adrie is 5'8" tall with a slender build, green eyes, and long dark brown hair. Her delicate features and gently-pointed ears reveal her elven bloodline, but her tawny skin and sturdiness of build point toward her human heritage. She has a strong, melodic voice that carries across a crowded room and long, tapered fingers. In towns and cities, she dresses in nice clothing designed to accentuate her features and colors, as well as catch attention. If she stays awhile, she fashions her hair into a popular local style. On the road, she dresses more practically, with more muted colors designed to avoid notice, not attract it. A slender rapier hangs opposite a main-gauche, with a small crossbow slung low on her hip below the main-gauche. Background: Originally from Highmoon in the Dalelands, Adrie was raised by her parents, a Chondathian human and moon elf mother, to assist the family in gaining power and prestige. To this end, she was sent to Baldur's Gate, ostensibly to study at the House of the Lute to learn barding, but also to ingratiate herself with the Parliament of Peers to develop her intrigue. She learned how to be an effective spy for the family, using her musical talents as a vehicle for gaining information, gossip, and leverage. Through the Parliament, she also developed contacts among The Guild, occasionally delivering messages or feeding them information and developing quite a network of informants and messengers. Eventually, her family began to pressure her to return to Highmoon so she could marry and apply what she'd learned to benefit the family. However, the time in Baldur's Gate had given Adrie a taste of freedom, and she had little desire or need to place herself under her parents' thumb again. She was also becoming concerned with how deep she'd gotten in with the criminal underworld and the political corruption of the city. While profitable, seeing the victims of the machinations of the Guild and/or Parliament, with Adrie acting as agent in some capacity, either being destroyed or killed began to weigh upon her soul. Fortunately, she was able to leave somewhat gracefully, without reprisal or a price being placed on her head, and set out on her own with several adventurer friends she'd met along the way.

Lakarr'n Name: Lakarr'n Alignment: Lawful Neutral Character Level: 4 Class/Path: Cleric (Order Domain) Background: Sage - Personality trait 1: I'm not good at empathy, will you settle for sarcasm? - Personality trait 2: I refuse to tell a lie. In fact, I don’t believe I’m capable of dishonesty. - Ideal: The path to power and self-improvement is through knowledge and obedience. - Bond: I'm trying to pay off a debt I own to a generous benefactor. - Flaw: I obey the law, even if the law causes misery. Appearance/Description in Brief: At 7'3" tall, and 297lbs of looming fur and muscle, Lakarr'n could cut it as an intimidating figure but is undermined by his submissive nature. History: Gnolls are known for their savagery and dedication to the demon lord Yeenoghu. But is this a product of their lineage or upbringing? A group of elves decided to test this (as you do) and acquired a Gnoll pup before it could be sullied by its biological family. Proceeding to raise it as one of their own. Unfortunately, Elves aren't particularly good at raising one of the shorter-lived races but they are a persistent lot. After much trial and error, some assistance from humans, and many more acquired test subjects. They managed to produce Lakarr'n. But before they could pat themselves on the back and believe their thesis proved, Lakarr'n must go out into the world alone, to test if he will continue on this path or regress into demonic debauchery and savagery without their guidance.
