HARLEQUINADE, ELVEN MURDER CLOWNS, CONNECTION 9 Membership: 10-99 (+1), Scope: Worldwide (+3), Finances: Extensive (+2), Magic: Most (+2), Matrix: Limited (+1) Description: The Harlequinade apparently take their name from the Commedia Dell’arte style costumes that they have adopted as their central motif. They are all masked, again apparently all the time, but despite that, the fact that they are all elves is abundantly clear. They are an odd mix of circus troop and warrior troubadours and seem to appear and disappear at a whim. When they do appear there is usually trouble afoot as their main stock in trade, after confusion and riddles, seems to be monster hunting…and there are plenty of monsters in the Sixth World for them to hunt. Random’s clearly unsighted white eyes are usually the first thing that draws the attention of anyone who meets him when he is unmasked. She certainly has a lot to ‘say’ when she meets others outside her troupe. Like others of her ilk her background and circumstances are hidden behind a web of deception and subterfuge, all masked by the insane role that the Harlequinade have cast for themselves. Slightly shorter stature than the average elf due to her metatype, Satire is never the less the epitome of elven grace and breathtaking beauty.
