Seeking another shot at Icewind Dale (or something of a comparably low temperature)
I'm not looking to re-create Raithe, but I liked the prospect of a real battle with the elements - hunting for game, searching for shelter, staying warm. Something in the vein of "To Build A Fire" by Jack London, or "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen - even Cast Away with Tom Hanks. I don’t even really have a character in mind, but of all the games that I've been in that haven't panned out, that's the one which has lingered in my mind. I'm a weekly poster (twice if I'm really inspired). I'm in several games at the moment, so don't feel like you have to jump right up and start something on my behalf, but if anyone's got an open spot in a similar game, or even if you’re planning something like that in the near future, keep me in the back of your mind. Thanks for reading, and have a good one.

So you want something in the frozen north with a heavy emphasis on having to contend with the elements as much, if not more, then you need to do with the antagonists of the campaign? I gotta say that does have a certain charm to it. Personally I don't have the time, confidence or skill with using the site to actually run something yet but it does sound like an interesting campaign idea to play in.

Hi Folks!
Mmm, I've been wanting to run a "cold" and extreme-weather themed game for quite a while now. Perhaps Noquarter19's friendly request will help inspire me to actually do it . How would those interested, feel about the following?
If this sounds feasible, let me know!

I haven’t posted interest in this thread so far, but @97mg this sounds like exactly the sort of game that I would love to be a part of and everything that makes me tick as a player. I love pretty much all of that, and if this gets traction let me know, I would love to be part of this

Hi Snicker! That would be great to see you at the game ad! It's nice finding people interested in these remote kinds of "adventures". It won't be Icewind Dale per se, but after a while it might be fun to steal some campaign ideas from there hehe.
Rana Dulik the dog breeder looked cool too btw!
