Rules and Formating

Materials being used:
Players handbook (SRD is also acceptable), Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual

Rolling Dice:
There are Two dice rolling threads for this game. This is too help ME keep track of things better.
1) Important Dice Rolls: Hp, saving throws. Dice I don't want to get lost in the hundreds of posts that will be inevitable. (shared by both groups)
2) Common Dice Rolls: Initiative, skill checks, attacks, damage etc. (1 thread for each group)


Initiative:
We will being rolling Initiative.
Combat will be done in blocks once initiative is established.
You are responsible for keeping track of your own HP and spell slots during encounters. I will double check.
I highly recommend using a See samples belowStatistics Block at the end of your post.

Leveling Up:
We will be doing Milestone level ups so we don't have to keep track of exp. ( I find it tedious).
I will announce when you level up: It will look like this.

Statistic Blocks:
I love them, like most DMs. They are nice to have as quick reference for everyone. Your block can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. Samples are available below for you to copy and paste if you don't have one already. Edit it as you see fit to reflect your character's skills. Please place your block in a spoilerbutton so it can be collapsed.

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 ft
Components: V, S, M (a twig from a tree that has been struck by lightning)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

Hi Silver!

Just wanted to see how you felt about this Stat Block? Anything missing, too much info? Any feedback is appreciated... this is pretty much my first go at this (I have pilfered one and edited it slightly for my purposes from some entries in the Questions and Site Discussions Thread). So I am certainly open to feedback on refining the one I have crafted currently!

Anyway, here it is:

It looks great. Everything is filled in, tidy and organized. It should serve it's purpose as long as you are comfortable editing it. Sometimes all the tables can get messed if you are not careful in your editing of code.

I've done a lot of playing around with it, and I think I can pretty confidently edit it without stuffing it up... and if I do (inevitably) stuff it up, I will know where I went wrong and can fix it. I spent a few hours playing around with it in practice runs via PM to myself. So I am pretty sure I have the hang of it now

That is some impressive formatting. Wonder how complex it would be to create an app that spits that out. Hmmm... I'd probably break the Actions out into it's own table from the stat block to reduce the chances of errors in editing. But it is very pretty.
