Amos: your array looks good to me. If you're looking for suggestions, I'd move two points from either Wisdom or Intelligence to Strength. That will make it easier to improve your Strength score if you decide to do so later on; but it's certainly not necessary, especially if you're going to be using Smite Evil a bunch.

I was considering that, am I reading his rule the right way, I take 2 away from Wisdom, and put 1 into Strength?

EDIT: Question for our illustrious DM, will we be using the slow, medium, or fast XP progression?

EDIT #2: You said we could have 9000gp to start, I was just checking if that was a typo or not, the SRD say's 10500 for level 5. I'm not complaining if that was your call, just curious.

Got some nice rolls and I was able to get the skills I wanted. Good times all around!

Seconding the XP question. Any critiques on my character build? Got it over in the rolls as well as the character section.

It looks fairly evenly balanced, myself, I always prefer to put the classes -best- stat, wis in your case, as the highest stat though.

While we're on builds, I'm considering this variant class feature. I figure another lay on hands per day could be more useful than a spell or two, any thoughts?

The "trade spellcasting for this" variants are always appealing to me, and that one in particular is quite good. I say go for it.

So, I'm new to the Pathfinder system and already I'm seeing more changes (for the better) than I expected. Once I get my sheet done, I welcome any opinions/criticisms/advice.

Do we still gain an ability point every 4 levels? I couldn't find that rule.

We do, yes. And also remember that you gain a feat every odd level, rather than every three levels.

In PbP, I generally like to progress as quickly as possible in terms of XP progression. This helps offset the snail's pace of this gaming method. I'm leaning towards fast XP progression, at this point. I may adjust after we get started, depending on difficulty and pacing.

I've added information to the following threads: Campaign Information, Commandments to Follow

I would suggest you all read over what was added, when you have a minute or two. When you are finished with your character sheets, let me know, and I'll get to reviewing them. We will be starting the introduction in the next day or two. Participation in the introduction game thread does not require a completed character sheet. It's for roleplay primarily.

I think we have a good group here, and I'm looking forward to this campaign.

On the note of absences, I will be absent March 24th-29th and June 15th-29th. I will definitely be entirely gone during the March timeframe, but I may get in one or two sporadic posts during the June timeframe.

Alright, thanks for the heads up. I will give everyone the heads up as well. I travel about 25% of the time. This works for and against me depending on the trip, in terms of PbP. Sometimes, it's easier to keep up with things in the evening, because I don't have my family to spend time with. However, on some trips, I'm out with co-workers in late meetings or at dinner, and don't get to posting. I will give everyone the heads up on my availability during these times. I am slated to be out of town the beginning of March for at least a week.

And on that note, I'm going to be bucking about in Europe from May 12 to May 31, so if I happen to post during that time, it will be a surprise. No issues until then, though.
