I'll get on it once I get this last owed reply out. I'll have the sheet posted either this evening or tomorrow. I forgot until about half an hour ago I had a meeting this afternoon. Honestly, besides doing skill allotment, I had the rest of it done. Serenity/Cortex isn't a terribly complex system when it comes to character generation.

Y'all have a mule onboard already? Be happy to spring for one o' them slick, floaty 10 tonners. Don't make much sense, me startin' out with fancy armor an' such, so the cash has to go somewhere. Plus I had to have a way to get to town. Just makes sense. Otherwise I'll just show up with m' pockets a bit fuller than I might otherwise.

While I'm thinkin' on it, I might bring along enough stuff to tack together a few garden bunks. I'm partial to veg of the fresher variety, comin' straight off the farm an' all.

Lemmie know. No hurry, but the ship leaves when the ship leaves.

You might want to rethink that Mule anyway because per the advert, your character is on the Reno Skyplex that is a half day's hard burn from Hera, or a mite more. That's where you're joining the crew.

@Drachen: I've linked a Character Sheet in Secret Tags for you so as to make sure it is approved. I've also swapped out one of Hasan's Complications for a different, equal-value one that I had strongly considered before. The one removed I reflected in his skill levels, instead.

Let me know if there are any issues or changes that need to be made.

@kenneth - On those skills in the character sheet, the sheet auto expands so when you enter more specialty skills on the line below the previous and click on save, another blank line will appear below that one. Look HERE at my character in a Firefly/Serenity game I'm a player in. Note how she's got a lot of skills under covert.

I was very confused for a moment. Thanks for the info on the sheet. That certainly allows me to clean it up a bit.

John Williams Name: John Williams Character Sheet: WIP Ship's Role: Layabout musician and conman. Description: John williams is a man in his... Thirtys? Maybe a hard twentysomething, he does party a lot. Then again his eyes sometimes look older... Who knows. Well, he's a man of average height, with piercing blue eyes, blonde hair, and a cigarette inevitably dangling from his lips or in hand. Shaving is at best an irregular chore for him, but he's got a charming boyish smile that he flashes a lot. Job: "Well squire, I'm a ship's good luck charm. With me round everyone's smooth an happy. Keep the crew ship shape. Count on me ta do the wheelin an dealin an get us the best cut. Good to have someone keep an eye out for any snakes in the grass, innit? Sure maybe sometimes I bring a bit of fun to the house, but I'm about solving problems. Mostly. Promise. A scrap? I'm more a lover'n a fighter mate, but comes right down to it, I can point and pull if needs be." History: John was born in Dyton Colony 1. While not the smallest of colonies John quickly outgrew the place, setting his sights on stardom in the greater verse. With his grandfather's antique guitar, “he gave it to me, honest as” John headed towards the central planets with high hopes. Despite putting together a band called Boss Carpal that gained some repute with the younger and more “avant guard” crowd, the Central Planets turned out to be colder and more cutthroat than the young man was prepared for. He learned several hard lessons before Boss Carpal broke up and John decided that the less strictured border worlds would be more his style. Currently John is supplementing the occasional gig with some semi or less than legal wheeling and dealing, but really he's just scraping by. At this point he's decided that having his own ship would be ideal. It'd make it easier to get new band members and get and get to gigs. Too bad ships are so expensive.
