I suddenly find myself without any games, and the premise sounds like a lot of fun. Sign me up!

Sounds good!
I'm new on this site (but not new to gaming) and am waiting for the board to be approved. I hope you'll be patient with me! The first decision to make is Template. It will determine your beginning load out of skills and lead to the next decisions to make. Here's a list: Template List - Adventurous Scholar - Aspiring Student - Caring Veterinarian - Cat Burglar - Cosmopolitan Dilettante - Curious Engineer - Diplomat - Elite Athlete - Globetrotter - Inquisitive Journalist - Intrepid Explorer - Plainclothes Police - Racing Driver - Suffering Artist - Vigilante Lawyer |

Gah... I'm quite full with games at the moment but this sounds so fun!
So... tentative interest here! ![]() Question: I don't know those comics but looking them up made me think this is kind of spy kids - IE very young characters. The list above makes it seem more open. Is there a target age for characters? I'm thinking about the inquisitive journalist. |

The most famous character (in my opinion) is Tintin. I believe he was supposed to be around 18, and would probably have been the inquisitive journalist type. He was the only main character who was that young. Thompson and Thomson and Captain Haddock, for example, were more middle-aged.
The only real mention of age in the RPG is, if you are school-aged, you can have a Complication called "Underage", which gives you trouble when you get into the more adult locations and situations. The example character in the book with that Complication has the "Aspiring Student" template. Age is no way mandated. |

Depending on what other people might want to do, I'd be looking at Adventurous Scholar, Globetrotter or Intrepid Explorer. Lots of them sound interesting, so I'm not picky.

Sounds good. As soon as you think you have one you'd like to try, I'll give you the template information and get a character made.

Oh, let's go with the globetrotter. I'm interested to see what sorts of skills and abilities that comes with.

Feel free to ask for details. I will provide them, while explaining some of the rules.

Would the characters be connected to begin with or all meeting for the first time?

My impression from what I’ve read about the game is that we would already be connected.

Interested. Inquisitive Scholar Primary but if the groups needs some muscle I was debating Athlete.
