I found an error on my sheet. I can't take Augment Summoning because it has a prerequisite of Spell Focus (conjuration). So I took that instead. That's kind of a wasted feat because what good is a +1 to the save DC if none of the spells are spells one would roll a saving throw for? Pointless really. I think it should be a +1 to the caster level, at least then the summons would last a bit longer or something. (Any chance that could be a house rule? That spell focus gives you either a +1 to the save DC or a +1 to the caster level for the chosen school (but not both). That may be too much, I'm not sure. Maybe I'd have to focus it to a sub-school for balance. Would be nice to have the feat do something though.) Anyway, just wanted to alert you to the change.

@Still_Pond - I'm okay with that, as a house rule. It does kind of make sense to have a prereq., as Augment Summoning is a tremendous boon to your eidolon. But, I agree that it would be a pain to spend a whole feat on what amounts to nothing. So, yes, please take the Spell Focus and apply it as a +1 caster level to the school of your choosing

It is hardly nothing. Grease, Glitterdust, Create Pit, Spiked Pit, Aqueous Orb, Wall of Stone, Insect Plague, Acid Pit, Incendiary Cloud, Wall of Iron, Plane Shift, Hungry Pit, Creeping Doom, and the three Planar Binding spells are all on the summoner spell list and all benefit from the increased DC on a saving throw. Many of those are great for a tactician, especially the pit spells.

Still, I'd rather have the extra caster level, myself, if I were playing a conjurer...

Agreed; to edit my previous...a feat that amounts to less for the conjuration school that it does for other schools. The DC helps, sure, but I don't see it as beneficial to a summoner as it would be to an evoker or enchanter, so I'm okay with him taking the level instead.

Ah, well there is that, (I didn't see those spells, I was mostly looking at the 0 and 1st level spells that I took as well as the summoning spells that actually summon creatures.) I don't see my crazy gnome as being much of a tactician though. Thanks for the list, it really helps. I guess if there are that many spells that work with a better DC, then there is not really an issue and no house rule is really necessary. I think the +1 to the level is better for that school though. Final answer?

Lol, now that I look at it, I might be using that kind of magic myself, eventually... and I probably will focus on tactical magic, though something to help me flank would also be nice.

Ya, and I also made peace with the wasted feat because augment summoning is easily worth two slots if it effects the Eidolon. I know what I'd say as the DM, but I'm stingy.

Our 4th is paiute(as he has access to our private thread). His app was for a Gladiator of some sort which would be good as otherwise he have no physical combat/meat shield.

Yup; sorry - his character is up, but he actually put it in his private thread. That being said; all characters are in...now I just have to stop being lazy and go through them. We should be able to start earlier than Monday.

And; final answer Still_Pond is that you can use the +1 level; I'm not stingy...just means I'll have to increase CR's accordingly

All - check out the setting information for some very brief information about both starting towns. There will be many more NPC's as you move along, but I didn't want to give too much information for the other teams. The information shown is readily available to either team if they do some research.

I'll be starting both games up over this weekend, and will post any questions or comments about your characters in your private threads.

Cool, made that change.

Because you're managing 2 games in one, I thought I'd mention the Campaign section of the character profiler. If you know about it, cool. It took me a while to find it.

What you can do is add characters to a campaign. This allows you to edit the sheets, (if you want to), and it also gives you a nice summery of character stats for all the characters in the campaign. It may or may not be that useful to you, but I thought I'd point it out.
