I occurs to me that it could be very useful to have a thread (separate from the OOC thread) dedicated to an "Away Calendar". Essentially, it would be a one-stop-shop for finding out if someone is actually away or just missing in action. Ideally, there would be one post at or near the start of the thread that holds the compiled list. I'll volunteer to maintain that compiled list, so you don't have to. I can't create the thread though.

Sorry about the sudden burst in posts - I felt as though I was lagging behind and needed to do some catching up myself. I've been responding as much as possible to keep the pace moving so it won't slow to a halt, although I didn't mean for others to fall behind... I'll be taking a break tonight anyway and do a quick refresher through this part of the storyline, giving a chance for everyone else to continue posting.

For those folks in the US, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? I managed to completely skip both Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and then have a huge day yesterday. It was unexpected but pretty awesome.

Does Australia have some sort of founding-related holiday like the American Thanksgiving?

We do have Australia Day, a national holiday which is on January 26 to celebrate the arrival of the first fleet. I would assume that's the equivalent of America's Thanksgiving holiday. Hope you all enjoyed it

Both Rogan and Satinder have added comments to the dialog, though I'm not opposed to moving the storyline ahead whenever we're all comfortable with the plan. Rohor, I'll just PM Rogan's surprise plan to you in the next dozen hours -- no need to roleplay that in my estimation.

I'm up for moving ahead as well, but I will probably continue with more dialog anyway if I get in a game-post before the move-ahead occurs.

If it's important, Brune is in the habit of getting up a solid hour before dawn (to pray) and will be doing so this night as well.
