I have to say it at least one more time.
The apps that everyone put in after only a few days were really top notch. Perhaps it was because the format allowed people to not focus on fantasy character's only? Perhaps it was the right time and the right place? Perhaps dumb luck had it that good writers would find a good inspiration and get to it right away? I'm promoting ignorance in this case. Who knows. If you've got any questions or anything or anything, post 'em up. If it's alright with everyone, we can make our first post in game later today.

Yep. One post each. They'll be edited a lot, but I like it when they're in one place.

Hi all. Copying over the character post now.
This should be fun. In case it wasn't obvious, I should probably say right now I am not planning to play Jac like your stereotypical paladin, in spite of her planned paladin levels. She's going to be one of those people who cheerfully kicks ass, instead. She does live by her code of conduct, but it's her's and doesn't give a damn what anybody thinks of it. I haven't decided if she'll be a Sorcerer/Paladin/Sorcerer/Paladin/Sorcerer or a Paladin/ Sorcerer/Paladin/Sorcerer/Paladin, though I'm leaning towards the former.

mechanically this is going to be a joyful clusterpuck either way, Caput. It's going to be hilarious at the start, when we're trying to figure it out.

![]() Also I am still wondering when exactly we are gonna get to know race stuff. Because it does change the exact order of feats I'd be taking.

Actually, mixing sorcerer and paladin should work out better than it sounds.
Sorcerers are tougher in Pathfinder, there are feats designed to make multi-classing between arcane and melee classes less troublesome and paladins are all about charisma. While in smite mode, she'll get her high Charisma score to attack rolls and ac, and smite damage will double up due to her dragon claws (which she gets from her first sorcerer level). Eventually, it will triple when she gets her bite attack. Provided she doesn't also use a manufactured weapon, she'll be able to treat all three natural attacks as primary. Armour is an issue, but once it lasts long enough, mage armour is better than light armour. There are also feats which can mitigate her spell failure if I decide to armour her. She'll trade in her heavy armour proficiency for precise shot using the Divine Hunter archetype, so that at elast will not be wasted. Her BAB works out about the same as a 3/4 BAB character. She'll have obnoxiously bad reflex saves but good fort, fantastic will and eventually Charisma to all of them. Obviously her spellcasting will suffer a lot, but there are some damn fine 1st level spells out there. Sadly casting infernal healing is an evil act, but there's still plenty of disgusting stuff to mitigate her limitations, most of it right in the core rulebook.

Jac has got a sweet spot for bad reflex saves going on. She's a caster and a slasher. you're at a crux for negative stereotypes.
Narsis, oy, races. Hah. hahaha. hahahaha. Well. All I can say is that we'll talk about that when we start. And on that note, I would like to apologize to everyone for disappearing this evening. At about 2 o'clock I got a call regarding a restaurant I had given my contact information to a few days ago. Maybe last week. They wanted me to come in tonight and learn the ropes... aand bus tables because it was bucking fizzy last night and they didn't have any one else available. It was great. They might even need a bartender part time. .. but. on this side of things it was unfortunate. I wanted to get going with the game this evening. Luckily, I'm doing the lights for a production tomorrow, and I'll have plenty of time to write. See you then. Trout of doubt: out.

Quite.
This reminds me very much of the museum where I volunteer. When you say "museum", most people think of galleries or maybe research libraries. They forget that a museum is an entity dedicated to hoarding as much stuff as possible in case some of it turns out to be important. Dover museum has stores at something like four different locations, all of which are mazes full of heaps of... things. Most of them are somehow missing or misplaced. Once, somebody in London decided to put on a polar bear themed exhibition, so they looked up all the museums in Britain that had stuffed polar bears and called them up. Most of them had lost their bears and could not find them even after a search.
