[OOC] Base Camp

I'm sorry I didn't get the knowledge checks back to you sooner, the last week was very hectic with final preparations for my exams. At any rate, there you go. I will try to get the next in character post up as soon as is feasible, but before I do I'd like to make sure of what the party wants to do.

Just as a bullet point recap:
-The shrine seems to be a relatively small surface structure, with no stairways, hatches, doors, or other 'entryways' to suggest that there's an inside to it. Just a stone platform, a central obelisk, and the mask's altar
-The place smells like a slaughterhouse, though there isn't any blood visible
-The obelisk is etched with writing and pictographs

Well in about two weeks, me and a team of specialists are heading in to do our part for humanity in containing the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. From what I have been told by the country teams there already, the Internet connectivity is not the most reliable and intermittent at best.

So my presence and time from here on may be more intermittent after week or so. Until I get on the ground I can't say how reliable my ability to post will be.

As RPGX and the games I am in are one of my few guilty pleasures, I can only ask for your understanding in the upcoming month until I can give everyone a better assessment before you decide to kick me to the curb. Thanks!

I arranged our formation as a staggered column with Alkhet bringing up the rear. Syritu has already taken point and I put Winston, our other fighter in the front stagger. Munin is co-located in the same position as Issac at the moment perched on his shoulder providing another pair of eyes.

If there is anyone that wishes to place themselves differently feel free I just thought that this made sense! Anyway, onward!

So it's been more than two weeks since the party descended into this hallway and we've yet to open a door... I'm going to say that's plenty of time. I'll aim for a post by Wednesday night in which the party will have opened the right-hand door, unless someone posts something to the contrary before then.

So it's been a month, I'm going to go ahead and call the game. You guys were great players while it lasted. I think I've learned a thing or two about tweaking encounters to make them more suitable for pbp games; and certainly realized that the hexploration system is a bit clunky and unproductive outside of an in-person setting. Thanks guys, hope you had some fun; I certainly did.
