I will be updating you Experience either tomorrow (Tuesday) or Wednesday, most likely Tuesday. We will get ya movin. You are doing great RP so far, so if you want to RP breaking camp and starting go for it but if I get to ya before anyone does I'll get ya started off.

Note the "as they prepare to leave". Seemed like a pretty clear attempt to move things along. At that point Bhoradran exited the inn to look for the others. Next we have Bronin walking into the inn and sitting down. Not sure what he's going to do in there, since he still doesn't have any money, which was the reason he didn't sit down with us at a table the night before, when he could have participated in the discussion about Deneith house, but whatever. Next up we have Enshar, who takes a chair and tries to talk to Bhoradran, who by the way is still outside. Vilyaa starts walking toward the building, which is cool, then Dayereth finally comes down and sits down, and now the innkeep is pushing drinks and serving breakfast, so we seem to have gone back in time from preparing to leave.

When people are ready to actually start moving, Bhoradran is standing outside.

Posting had been slow, so I figured it might be the onset of bordnessification so a poked a bit. If everyone wants to do a bit of RP before moving on then please do (I usually give more xp for roleplay than combat anyway).

"As they prepare to leave" could mean as little as on their way to breakfast or as much as walking down the road. Go ahead and RP breakfast and we will go from there.

D'oh. I understood that we were preparing to leave, and since the others (except, of course, for you, Tangler) were all inside I just went along with it.

Dayereth was preparing inside his room.

It could, but since the lady was giving directions as "they" prepared to leave, the obvious interpretation would be that "they" were preparing to leave the inn.

As for RP, I'm always up for that. I would hope that's clear from my posts here and in dj's game.

As an illustration of my point, by the way, Vilyaa is also not inside the inn.

My bitch post wasn't just directed at you, but now that you mention it...

On 12/8 the DM made a "next morning" post. 3 hours later you made a "previous night" post which did nothing to respond to the DM's post. 4 days later you made a "next morning" post which ignored not only "the five words", but also the player post which followed the DM's post (mine).

Why are you surprised when another player gets frustrated because someone seems to be too f'ing lazy to read, not just what the other players are writing, but even what the DM is writing, before posting? Is it really that hard to spend 5-10 minutes reviewing the posts since your last one?

I was really excited to get into this game. It's a great concept, and the DM was obviously a committed forum participant (not to mention staff). I had hoped that it would move along faster than it has. Instead it's bogged down in a chronic lack of posting. I know the DM's application thread didn't mention posting frequency guidelines for players (except during combat), but two posts in three weeks seems a trifle low.

On a separate note, our cleric hasn't logged on to DNDOG for almost a month now. Just saying.

Oh, one other thing. I'm not really comfortable on horses, high or otherwise. Bad experience as a teenager. Soapboxes, maybe.

Looks like our cleric has dropped from the site, hasn't logged on since late November.

You know that thing where you think RL is going to make you have to go drop a few hobbies, only to later find out you didn't have to?

Yeah that happened with me, partly. My life is a rollercoaster and seems to have a direct effect on my interest levels of things. (Don't ask; I don't get it either.)
