1. Will I lose time I've paid for if I purchase this membership but am already a member and my membership is not expiring for a while?

No -- the purchase is to add 12 months, and extends current memberships by that amount.

2. Will purchasing a CS membership make me as cool and awesome as Admin Dirkoth?

No -- it won't. Nothing can make you as cool as Admin Dirkoth, but buying a CS membership while it's on sale gets you ALL the benefits of being a Community Supporter (which is pretty cool), AND, you save money, which means you are smart! Not as smart as Dirk, but still, pretty smart.
