In the characters thread, you mention a 32 point buy. Is that the 3.5e point buy system, or the Pathfinder one? I'm assuming 3.5, of course, but I want to be certain.

Also, traits for characters or no? I have no opinion either way, honestly, though some players swear by their traits.

Traits! I had completely forgotten about them - yes, two traits for starting characters. Also, when doing out your character sheets, please put down as your equipment whatever you would have for a short hike in the woods. Stuff like Remington 22-gauges will probably be out, but if you're the type to carry around a pocket knife that's fine.

So... which sheet are we doing first? The D20 modern sheet or the Pathfinder sheet?

Either or... the D20Modern sheet is mostly as a reference point for your characters in the "real world" (though there is going to be some d20 modern stuff in the future), so it doesn't really matter which gets done first. The Pathfinder sheet is, though, the one you'll be needing presently.

Traits added, as well as a short list of items he'd have prior to fantasy. Working on his actual equipment list now Fantasy equipment list done(I'm using average starting money for his class, yell and berate if you want us to use something else). Couldn't find stats for just a basic blank book, so I used the ones from the Wizard's Traveling Spellbook instead. It's still just an empty book that he writes things in.

Sounds good! I'll have some time tomorrow to get a character sheet together. I'm thinking this'll be a great game: I love the premise and was really impressed by the character backgrounds my fellow players put together.

My character sheet is almost done, but I don't have equipment figured out. So far, Colin is equipped with a Sharp Pencil.

Give him a Stupid Looking Beanie as well, preferably one with a dorky propeller on top. Doesn't give you any AC, but does add to Intimidate: Anyone who can rock one of those and not care is clearly a force to be reckoned with.

Y'know, I was considering giving some minor abilities to the real-world stuff. Things like that might actually go down - though the effects would be under my purview, not by your choice.

That aside, two things spring instantly to mind. One: everybody here knows that you can post in the game thread at any time, yes? I just haven't seen any activity yet and it's a little disconcerting. I mean, I can understand if people are focussing more on their character sheets at the moment, just putting it out there.
Secondly, we appear to be missing one of our members. I'll send a PM off and make sure that Ginnungagap knows the score.

Same here. I think things will get moving once everyone has their character properly built. Personally, I hope to be totally set by tomorrow evening.
