Well, it looks like Ginn is still around - he made his last post today in another game app thread - so I'll see if I can rustle him up. For now, though, we'll try and keep things moving. If the game stalls early, I'm afraid it won't last.

I'm sorry to say it, but I don't think I can keep up with this character at this point. The stalling brought the thing so close to that point of death, that I dumped the character from my mind. And trust me, I only roleplay what I have in there.

Well, the loss of one player doesn't affect the story too badly. It'd be quite problematic if another person dropped out, but for the most part you fellows seem to be reasonable, reliable people so I'm not worried.

Just... tell me if one of you is going to drop out. As I said, there'd be issues down the line should there be less than four.

...well this is annoying.
I don't blame any of you - what started out as simple waiting for full confirmation from everybody turned into a game-breaking wait that should never have happened, and I'm sorry for that. I should have known that things should move on and kept going with the story.

So, if any or all of you are willing to keep going, I've just updated the story - and breaks like this won't happen any more, since the story is more traditional from here on out.

Now, let's get cracking! As I'm sure you're all aware, I've put up private threads for everybody. They're able to be read by outside viewers, so as to give the game a bit more of a holistic view when read from the outside. You will need them a few times over the course of the adventure, no doubt - if I feel them necessary I will refer you to them. Likewise, if there's something you wish to do that you don't wish to inform the others about, feel free to play it out in private.

Better late than never, right?
Additionally, it appears that BadBasset is somewhat withdrawn from this game to focus on DMing his own game, which is perfectly understandable. It does, however, leave this game in a right pickle.
I will be renewing the advertisement and begin looking for another player or two to refresh the ranks. In the meantime, though, I will continue with the game as previously advertised. Just letting you guys know that there might be another person or two kicking around in the very near future.

Excuse me? Or, in other words - wtf are you talking about?? I posted in the game thread. Gus is in the wagon. Everyone is in the wagon. We've been in the bloody wagon for two weeks and heard nothing from you.

I've been patient and supportive despite the lack of momentum, but I don't feel obliged to put up with your making up rubbish about me quitting to DM non-existant games. No, I haven't withdrawn from the game. I don't know where you got that idea. It certainly wasn't from me.

Which brings up a side note - just for everyone's awareness. I can see all threads (even the ones that specifically disallow me) and all secret text and such. But I've been making a point to mark the threads as read without looking at them and such - using my staff powers to metagame wouldn't be very sporting of me. Though, if you want to post secret text in the main thread that I shouldn't see, you should combine it with a spoiler or spoilerbutton tag as well, with a label informing me not to look. I won't.

Thanks Jondera - I totally missed that.

Kaiser: a post here saying that switch was happening, or a message asking why I'd not responded would've been nicer than this business of saying I'd quit without contacting me about it. After all, I'm playing a fighter, not a psionic: I can't read minds.
