When Percy gets his head stuck Buffy can't help but giggle. Or she may just be randomly giggling and it happens to coincide with him getting his head stuck. It's hard to tell with her, it's not like she doesn't just randomly start giggling anyway. Actually she does that quite a bit, it's like she's telling herself a joke that she hasn't heard before. Somehow she's able to manage doing that. "Sorry Percy, Buffy would like to help but... Buffy is lazy," she says, echoing Crix's excuse.

The Group could only stare at the scene in front of them. The wooden hut had been sturdy, solid and built to last for years. It had thick log walls with several supporting logs slammed down into the soil around them. It had been standing for a few years already and would probably have stood for far longer had not Percy gotten involved.

In his attempt to dislodge the cage from his body he back tracked himself against the house, hoping to have the house catch the dislodged bars of the cage so that they would bend further and thus let him get out of his new metal outfit. It worked... well he got free of the bars. But not the way he intended. The logs had been built in a solid manner so when he pressed himself against the large logs on the corner of the house he made the entire structure shift, then tilt and then finally it fell apart, all over him. Luckily his new metal cage outfit protected him but he found himself buried beneath a big pile of large logs, debris and broken furniture.

The metal cage's bars had dislodged themselves further after several of the large timber logs struck its main metal bands and it split the cage in half, letting the big drago nturtle free, now he just needed to Athletics DC: 14 for Percy, if someone tries to help him DC: 12.get out of this big pile of wooden timber he got over himself.

The freed prisoners just looked at the pile of wooden logs, broken cage bars and struggling dragon turtle limbs in shock. While the alchemist just shrugged, he never liked that building anyway.

Percy shakes his legs until he finds good footing and then pushes with his might, This would be a good time to mention that your character was standing OVER THERE, not anywhere near the giant turtle who is causing logs to fly dangerously!throwing logs in every direction. Free of the rubble and the cage, Percy looks down on everyone from atop the pile of what used to be the cabin, a note of triumph on his face.

"Got the cage open!"

Crix Vodus - Kobold Fighter
left-aligned image
The top of his head now sore from all the patting and rubbing, Crix pushes away from the strange lizardfolk lady.

"That's.. seven? no.. three? hmm.. x! nah.. ... You got the logs Persheee!"

Phew. That spent a few more brain cells than Crix would've liked.

"What else do we need for Mishter Bob? I think he said somethin' about food?"

Barely even reaching the end of his sentence, Crix drools a little at the thought of some nice hot food back at the castle.

Florence eyeballed the destroyed cabin, standing away from the zone of destruction with a brisk hop and a skip: still spry for all his endless complaints about back pain and aching knees, idly cleaning dirty encrusted fingers with the knife - not really improving the situation.

"Well, I guess we got those logs sorted. An improvement per-se Percy."

Here, he paused delicately.

"If we're getting jerky-boy over there to come along with us, it'd be best to get some herbs 'n spices. He don't look too flavourful."

That wouldn't bother most of the minions too much, but Florence liked to think he had a refined palette. Rather than watch the farce unfold, the wizened gardener started looking for new vegetation to transplant.

Quick query...

Would you let me roll Nature (WIS) for looking for herbs, given I'm a gardener and druid?

Dice Nature:

Just making a quick post

Moving Things AlongThe log house had been dismantled and put onto the cart containing the chest. Said chest had been unlocked by the silver key the Group had found within the hut. The chest contained only two things. A large crystal sphere, that looked almost see through if not for the single black sphere within its center. And the second thing being a papyrus scroll, very old, written in the language of the dragons. (The scroll requires someone with Int 12+ and Language Draconic to be able to read it properly.)

The group of former prisoners were more then eager to help in gathering up the resources, including the pieces of the iron cage, onto the wagon. Except for the nobleman who had fallen unconscious when one of his former roommates threw him onto the wagon heads first to keep his whiny self out of the way.

The camp was looted to the floor now they just had to gather the disgusting unliving scarecrow before returning the goblin's goods and then get back to base. Maybe even gather some food? The gnome had been able to gather about five pounds of acorns from the nearby trees.

Percy attempts to read the scroll. "See here, it says you're supposed to use the essence of... your essence, my mistake. Maybe it's a holy essence? Your holy essence. So, channel that, and then there's a hand gesture..." He stares down at his foot. "Which I don't understand, but which was very prejudiced of them to assume that the reader would have hands. Anyway, and then you're supposed to say these words... my those are long words... the penmanship here leaves something to be desired... and then, you've casted the spell, and something happens!"
