Seconded: let's keep it going!
Glad everyone is alive and well at your place, Irish. And you other two--sounds awesome to have a local club up and going! I'm kind of jealous. And hope that you don't wish to leave us behind because of it. |

Hello all!
Just wondering where we are with our adventure. There was a long gap where I didn't post at all so I admit that the loss of momentum is in part my fault! I do feel less attached to this story now having had such large gaps but I certainly wouldn't quit if everyone else is happy to continue. What are other people's thoughts? |

I'm still here and would like to keep playing. I'm enjoying Rosscoe very much. However, life is what it is and we can't always keep these things going. So I 100% understand if Juice or others are unable, or unwanting to continue.

I am here and ready to go on as long as I have players.
The gap right now is largely because I didn't want to have a 'tennis match' with just me and irish. Games can recover from a loss of momentum as long as it's temporary, but yes, it's harder to really feel the character in an extremely slow game. Edit: Upon taking a second look, you two posted. So I guess the question really is whether we've lost Xerus. Last edited by jrice408; Jul 17th, 2017 at 03:57 PM. |

Hi there, I'm up for keeping it going if it's going to get back to a bit more regular posting. I find it hard to keep invested in it when the gaps are quite so big. I'll try and make sure I hold up my end and won't leave it too long

Cool. Let's keep it going then. I'm up for that and Furrow tells me he is also happy to continue.

Yep. Totally lied before, sorry. Here's the deal, guys--you gave me such fantastic tidbits to play with and great opportunities in your last posts that I really don't know what to do with myself. I'm concerned about throwing too much stuff at you at once and muddling what you're 'supposed' to be doing, but fine with it if you want to try to get someone else to finish making the delivery or whatever. Any thoughts?
Also, at the moment I have an injury to my elbow which is giving me problems with typing, so I'm hoping to have a two-week break to get that all better, get organized with your input, and start with actual regular posting in two weeks. I really hope I haven't lost you all through my neglect. |

Hello Jen, thanks so much for replying. I was starting to think it had all died and admit I wasn't doing anything to chivvy it along either.
I hadn't thought about the extra work my last post would cause - it was more of a filler from my point of view and a way to 'experience' the town rather than just blundering through it. However I'm totally cool with Furrow finishing his shopping in one sentence and carrrying on with the mission at hand - if I can remember what we are actually supposed to be doing! I don't want to speak for Xerus but I strongly suspect he will be out of this game from now on. He (Xerus, not Jarren) is going through some positive life-changing stuff right now and I just don't think play-by-post is on his radar. If you're reading this Xerus I hope I'm not speaking out of turn - but I know how busy you are and I suspect it would be easier to assume Jarren will not be back. I am happy to continue as long as Jen and Irish are happy to do a two-hander game. Jen - sorry to hear about the injury. Wishing you a speedy recovery. |

I'm still very much 100% into this game.
I'd have to double check what I did in my post, but I remember the rolls were pretty bad. Rosscoe went for a walk more to kill time while Furrow went shopping. With that said, if a challenge were put in front of him, he might be duty bound as the best Theif this side of the Mississippi to prove it, before returning to the mission on hand. Sorry to hear about the Elbow. I've broken wrists, forearms, and collar bones, but never an elbow. If it's what my friend did when all was said and done he could extend his arm past 180 degrees. Great for a reaction during our improve routines back in the day. Dring lots of healing potions and get your rest. I'm ready when you are.
