Didn't really care about the party comp, I cared about the players I was accepting .

@GDO Skirmisher is fine, probably won't end up applying to us though. If things go really well I will consider homebrewing some adventures for your characters, or we could move onto the latest Paizo adventure path with new ones. That's what I'm going to get my RL group to do when we get organised, We Be Goblins for the first timers and then into an AP.

@Muggins Your sheet is fine, except you did you Snake Cutta wrong...you still get to use your STR+Small size when you roll to hit, you just get a -1 to it, so it's +3 to hit. Also somehow it didn't click to me that it was a Martial weapon. Alchemists can't use martial weapons so you can't have the Scizore afterall, sorry. Perhaps a Boar Spear if you want to maximise damage (and do well against charging animals)? Though it's two-handed you can still use an extract/mutagen whilst holding it with one hand. Or if you really want a one-handed weapon a heavy mace or morning star. Remember to add 1.5*STR to damage if you use a two-handed weapon.

@GDO Falchion is a two-handed weapon, so you should be doing 1d6+3 damage. Other than that your sheet is done.

Hmm, just had a thought: could I trade the Rogue's proficiency with short sword for a dogslicer instead (identical except deals slashing instead of piercing damage)? It just occurred to me that the "Choppa", being a sword whose upper half of the blade broke off would make more sense as a hacking (hence, "Choppa") style weapon.

You need to make it public!

Tools/My Characters, EDIT (for the character you want to show me), Apply Public Permission.

You'll need to do this everytime you create a character sheet, it automatically makes it private unless you go and change the setting.

@BloodyDove You spent 5 too many points on stats, I said 20. Perhaps you should try 12/20/14/12/10/6? Add +2 in REFLEX base save. Pick either +1HP or +1 Skill Rank for taking a level in your favoured class. And if you decide to drop down your INT to 12 remember to remove one skill rank. Fix those things and you're done.

Your sheet is good L~Spine, Scout archetype is fine though I doubt we'll be going past 1st or 2nd level. This game was really just to get my DM skills up to scratch again, but that's not to say I might not want to continue it or offer you guys a different game at the end!

Oh and you can take 20 arrows if you like, first levels tend to miss a lot.

Just waiting on Friend to make his sheet, GDO to fix his up (1d6+3 damage with falchion) and Muggins to pick a new weapon (sorry! rules are rules, if I let you have a scizore I have to let everyone without martial training have one). I'll probably start the game tomorrow regardless but would like people to be ready soon.

I'm ... not sure what you're saying. Alchemists are able to use all weapons, they just don't have the proficiency for some of them. If you don't have a Weapon Proficiency you take a -4 to all attacks made with that weapon. I can use the Snake Cutta, I'll just take a -1 to hit (+3(Str)+1(Size)-4(Prof)-1(Scizore)) with my standard roll until I take a level in Fighter or something.

Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not sure what you're saying because it doesn't match up with what I've heard. You can't really say "Can't use ______ weapons" in Pathfinder/DnD, just "Can't use ______ weapons well."

@Muggins Ah I didn't realise you were using it untrained, that explains why your attack bonus is -1 overall! My apologies, it is very rare for people to use weapons they aren't proficient in and the rule completely slipped my mind.

@Friend You should have 9 hp, d8+1. You need +2 in REFLEX and WILL in the Base column. Melee to hit is +2, ranged is +5 (stat + 1 size bonus). Add +1 in the Misc column to all Knowledge skills...this one isn't necessary, but it makes it easier to remember your Bardic Knowledge.

@Everyone If you have a picture you would like to use for your character token please let me know, or I'll assign you something when we have our first combat. Looking forwards to starting the game but am going out with the missus tonight, so I will do so as soon as I get home from dropping her at work tomorrow morning!

I'd love to, but unfortunately there isn't exactly much in the way of "Female Goblin Pathfinder" goblin art. :P

It's hard, but not impossible. I managed to actually find something usuable. Just do a google image search for "female goblin" and you'd be surprised what you find if you keep scrolling.
