About how far is this trek and/or how many days?
I retract my question, as you had stated leagues in the post.

Topic: posting order.
So the time has come to educate the new guy. I've watched this here pbp gaming a bit, but I'm lacking in first-hand experience. And I figure if I want to know the answer to a question, swallow my pride and ask. So… What is the etiquette with regards to posting order? Or is it something more important for combat scenes? As you have probably guessed, I can't work out when to post next ![]() |

It's different from game to game, but the best method (in my humble opinion) is to post when you want to. Keep several dialogues at once either by separating them with lines, or by writing retroactively; "John hears Molly's comment, and responds "yada, yada, yada." Afterwards, he turns to Rebecca, having heard her queston and tells her "yada, yada, yada"."
As long as nothing incredibly important is going on (combat, i.e.) this method will allow you (and everyone else) to post whenever they want. But that's just my take on it. The most important thing is just to make it very clear who you are speaking to, or about, and to clarify if your character is doing something retroactively. |

So there's no hard and fast rule then? It's more like something that evolves throughout a game, yes?

Not unless Fenris decides there should be, no. I don't feel bound by any, at least

It's the small scales button next to the warning symbol on the right-top corner of any post. I don't think you can, yet, however - you usually need a substantial amount of posts before the option becomes available. No worries - I can be patient!

I'd like to finish a combat round every day (Or more, not picky about more, though it's difficult for me with graduation looming) But aside from that, no, post when and where you like.

Who wants it? Personally I think it'd be a bad idea for Rike to carry it... it'll get "mishandled" in his care.

Well, if it's only 20 pounds we should try and secure it to the horse, and that should be it. Anyone has Knowledge (Local) to figure out how far and where we're going?
