I don't have a major in English, but I did just go complete a course on academic writing. Is either of those more appropriate than the other?

Sure, there are plenty of objective components in English grammar - full stops, for example, are required to end sentences which don't end in pieces like exclamation marks, question marks or interrobangs. I'd prefer it if we didn't go into the specifics of grammar, so that we can all maintain our own subjective grammar.

I feel we've started off on the wrong foot Hanz. My decision to not have you edit is not as much about your work load. (Though I do care) It's about the possibility of my creativity, which I made public, changed without my knowledge. Autonomy vs. unilateral decision making is the main idea. So from my perspective, it is not weird.
