I was actually slightly hoping that you would lean more in the 'a' option compared to the 'the' option. I didn't start reading the game until a little after I asked . If you are intent about having her be in the game rather than a different cleric [if only for the convince + keep the game as is (I know I am picky about that)] then I am fine with that, it will be a good experience to play something different as the game looks interesting.

Goplayer7 I just now double checked your post and saw, for the first time, the 'and/or' in hour post. I was so charmed by the and, I must have mindedited out the or.

As I said, Turnip's more than a super side NPC only because I was worried they'd get creamed with 3 PCs and no real healing. A cleric is just as good as being Turnip. Getting players into the game continuity wise is easy.

Thinking about my concept, what is your stance on the Divine Feats from Complete Divine? One in particular that I am thinking about it Domain Spontaneity.

If my character idea would influence it, I am planning Cloistered Cleric of Pelor which I am still in the process of thinking of a good background for... which I guess it would also mean it is a good time to ask permission if Cloistered Cleric is fine [it is UA and thus SRD].

While unearthed can be found with the SRD Note that they are not part of the SRD. It's why a lot of that stuff gets thrown out by DMs. That said (sorry couldn't resist pointing out the semantics error) it is accessible to any and all.

If it's not in the SRD I may ask for clarification (such as, I can't find a UA Druid variant number 2 in my copy of UA or on the srd website) but it's still allowed. On the otherhand, if I can't find it in a published book (the Completes or Races books vs. homebrew or Dragon Magazine) I need to review it first. I'm pretty lenient if you've noticed. The paladin is already utilizing Dragon magazine content.

The druid variant is sometimes referred to as swift hunter. It is listed as "simple variant" in the Unearthed Arcana SRD

EDIT: @ Scimmy, swift hunters actually a ranger/scout build, not sure I've ever seen the monk-ish druid thing referred to like that.

It is taken from a quote in the text itself, "The druid might choose to give up her wild shape ability in exchange for becoming a swift and deadly hunter.". It does also happen to be the name of a feat, but that is what I have always heard that variant referred to as.
