Question, do sphere casters gain cantrips (the spheres feat) for free? Essentially it is cantrips as the normal casters get without significant scaling.

Forsaken by Fate
left-aligned image
Name: Dezchaka, Soars on Brazen Wings
Heritage: Sylph (Shoanti)
Class: Symbiat (Vector)
Spheres: Telekinesis, Weather, Wrestling, and Athletics
Role: Battlefield control, trapfinding, and possible utility/blasting/healing
Alignment: True Neutral
Traits/Drawback: Giant Slayer (campaign trait), Blood Cult Survivor (faith trait), Combat Healer (combat trait), and Warded Against Nature (drawback)

Description: Standing at a height considered modest for her kind, Dez's somewhat gangly figure prevents her from intimidating most civilised folk by size alone. Helping this impression is her choice of wear, drawn from all walks of life; baggy clothes woven by a kind Varisian seamstress, ruthlessly purged of colour as to fit the frontiersman Cheliax ideal, but nonetheless adorned by traditional Shoanti jewellery and fetishes. Her hair, once kept short as per tradition, has been allowed to grow out and live free as its owner has, forming wild brown curls of a similar tone to her skin. Notably, her body lacks the tattoos bestowed most full-blooded Shoanti, though she does sport a piercing - and beneath her clothes lie the ritual scars of a thousand bleedings, each one done without mercy.

Her disposition is what one might consider cold on the surface, and warm-yet-prickly on the inside. Her scratchy voice often assumes a position of authority, even on subjects she knows little about, and she fiercely dislikes those who disclaim responsibility to the likes of omen or tradition. She is reserved, attempting to control conversations despite her poor Common, for she fears that revealing any part of her inner self could expose others to the horrors she's been through. She gets angry at people who talk over her, or who would disrespect her culture. She loathes the lazy and the weak.

And yet above it all, her wonderment at the scale of Sandpoint and its festivities is clear as a summer's day. She cannot help but let years of Shoanti superstition and xenophobia be washed away by curiosity and hope for her own future, because there is a life here that she was denied for all her youth, and she wishes to see it with eyes wide open. Her time with the Varisians has tempered her too; she has learned to laugh and smile, to see value in things beyond their practical uses, and that not everyone will understand that her spiritual passenger is a blessing, not a curse. Let people believe what they want to believe, for she can only open the door. It is up to them to walk through it.

Name: Karval Hardkettle
Race: Dwarf
Class: Cleric of Irori (Looking at Devout Pilgrim atm) (Strength/Competition and Healing Domains)
Party Role(s): Healing, care-taking and sustenance.
Alignment: NG

Physical Description: Now there goes a big dwarf, and I mean big! He’s taller than most of his kin, for sure, and thicker. Especially around the waist area, that one likes eating, plain as day. Bald head brings attention to the wrinkles in his forehead, either that one worries too much or he’s one of those whose face has all his emotions written there for all to see. Crafty beard though, I must say, a rare color of fine red wine and well kempt. Which leads me to assume he pays attention to his own grooming, yet his clothing… yes well there he lacks profoundly, the man looks like a hobo! Dirty brown vest over green shirt, well it use to be green. Come to think of it, calling it green is being generous. Dried old rosemary is the colour most relatable to this atrocity of a piece of clothing. Patched leather pants… wait, let me say this again: Patched, leather, pants… I’m starting to think he is a hobo. And what’s with all these pots and pans, bundles of dried spices and links of sausages he’s carrying around? Unsanitary at best, the man smells like a larder for crying out loud!

Oh, but he has a gentle look in his eyes, if somewhat mischievous one and I like his smile, it’s honest. Perhaps that’s the word that would best sum up his appearance: Honest.

Personality: Karval Hardkettle is a kind man who can’t stand to see others suffer. Oh he might fuss and curse (As far as his fatherly, mild mannered tone can throw a curse that is) and he might poke his nose into business that he has no part in, but he means well and everywhere he goes he cares about the health and safety of the poor, the children and the elderly.
He knows he is a flawed, only Irori himself was able to rise above and cast away his flaws to reach Godhood, but Karval believes one should strive to be the best person he can be and that, like everything else, is open for interpretation. In his case he believes by being kind to others and helping those in need he can fulfill his role and serve his god to the best of his abilities. He has a weakness for food and ale, he loves a good competition in any form and is always eager to turn every event into a contest even though he has no chance of winning, he is a good looser and a gracious winner.

Background: Born and raised in Janderhoff, the Sky Citadel in the southeastern Mindspin mountains, Karval is the only child of Karkhoff and Litta Hardkettle. His father a butcher, his mother a midwife and an ordained minister of Irori. He lived a happy childhood, he never wanted for anything and has so far lived a pretty uneventful life, as such. His parents are known in the neighborhood as good people who always go out of their way to help those in need and the son takes after them. He split his time between working at his father’s butcher shop and assisting his mother at the small church she ran on the outskirts of Janderhoff. In the end he took up the mantle of a priest, the teachings of Irori resonating with the young dwarf.

There was always that itch though, as if something was tugging at him to leave Janderhoff and make his own future, to travel the Varisian coastline and get to know other people and their traditions, to offer his assistance where needed and do some good. To become a better man and perhaps make the world a better place in his wake. He refused any monetary aid from his parents, only taking with him what payment he had saved from working with his father, arguing that he should make this pilgrimage on his own merit.
Three years ago he took off from Janderhoff, his journey taking him to Korvosa where he spent nearly a year working as a cook at a small inn called The Leftovers in the East Shore part of the city. But he grew tired of the big city and decided he’d make his journey onwards, through small towns and hamlets, to truly find the spirit of the Varisian locals, he particularly enjoyed visiting places where festivities were taking place, offering his skills as a cook and a butcher in the preparation where needed and recently he just heard of one such place called Sandpoint and the Swallowtail festival that the locals celebrated each year, apparently there were competitions and abundance of food for everyone.
But most of all he had heard the people of Sandpoint had recently completed building a cathedral dedicated to many of the gods venerated throughout Varisia and it was to be dedicated on the day of the festival. Karval Hardkettle would not miss it for the whole world!

Role-play Example:
Karval sat his back down against a large stone on top of a small hill overlooking the sleepy coastal town below, well sleepy was not the right word at this moment as the town was bustling with activity. He could see people milling about, setting up decorations and building stalls by the main square, it seems everyone around town was doing their part to make the Swallowtail festival a great one. Smiling to himself he let out a sigh and went on to prepare his meal, it would not do to arrive hungry he thought to himself as he placed a small cloth in front of him and started stacking it with whatever meager remains he had of his rations; an end of a sausage, two stale slices of bread, handfull of dried fruits and some sharp cheese. He fished deep into his backpack for a jar of blueberry jam he’d got as a parting gift from the Jonsbrook family he’d met a while back and stayed with at their farm for a couple of days, it was undoubtedly the best jam he’d tasted in his life and he kept it wrapped up in his clerical vestments for safekeeping “Ahh there you are.” he said with a wistful smile “Lovely.” whistling a song he scooped the last remains of the jam on the bread and started stacking it with whatever he had available, a short moment later he had prepared a sandwich fit for a king if he’d say so himself. Wiping his fingers on the cloth in front of him he offered a prayer to Irori with a promise he’d do his best this day in every way needed and included a short blessing to Desna for bringing him to his destination and Erastil for the bounties of the land. Nodding to himself he put a napkin on his lap and reached for the sandwich when a motion to his left caught his attention, a dog had taken up position some 20 feet away from him, just sitting there with tongue hanging out, eyeing the sandwich “Oh, hello there little fellow!” Karval said with a toothy grin, looking back at the dog. It was a beautiful specimen, yellow fur with dark ears and snout, some breed of a Varisian Shepherd similar to the one the Jonsbrook family had at their farm “So, hungry I guess?” he said with a chuckle, tearing his sandwich in half and tossing the dog’s way “Right, half is more than enough for me, am I right?” he chuckled and stroked his large belly with a mirthful laugh. The dog grabbed the half sandwich and bolted away, Karval watched the retreating wagging tail with a smile. He ate in silence, watching the town below What a peaceful, lovely place. It’s perfect. He thought to himself. There had been a tug of sorts, or that’s the only description he could give the feeling of urgency to reach Sandpoint. Perhaps it had been his own excitement to see the new cathedral and take part in the festivities, or perhaps it was something else, something more.

Traits/Drawback: Urban Acolyte (Competition domain, Knowledge: local), Student of the Faith (Last to be decided as well as drawback)

Daxis is complete, though I reserve the right to modify his Traits if his role as a face is not needed by the group who will ultimately be chosen to participate.

All I have left to do is write a roleplay sample, but any feedback on Tamba that you have would be greatly appreciated, oh noble DM.

Also, in case I get in and you want to use the Shaman-Queen or Tamba's mum and dad in the campaign, I've left out their names intentionally so you can choose and use as you please.
