Molrim aims his bow and unleashes an arrow which catches the so called lizard king in the throat. The lizard man gasps for air and gurgles saliva mixed with a bloody froth as his body slumps to the floor lifeless and remaining still. Belros takes a five step towards the first Troglodyte on the left and smashes the amphibian creature, caving in his head with the bludgeoning part of his war hammer. The body as well slumps to the ground. Then a Troglodyte attacks the heavy armored cleric with his javelin and pierces the metal armor. The wound trickles a bit of blood but is not a major wound. Then another Trog attacks the Half-Orc Druid and pierces his rainy and wet clothing to bypass muscle and strikes a non lethal wound per say.

Each of the remaining Troglodytes attack Reyd the Rogue, Morton the Bard and Pogar the Dwarven Fighter but miss their attacks. Closer to the door, the lizard familiars are let loose on Molrim and Faunra but miss their attack. The medium sized lizards try biting with their razor sharp maws but find a small piece of the female wizard and the taste of her blood to enter a frenzy. It is now your turn to act.

It seems that Yargos picks up his book and makes his way to an underground exit you are easily distracted but not before Yargos Gil trys to flee. It seems everyone has their hands full now and will not be able to chase the commoner till the Trogs and their menaces are taking care of.

Out of CharacterIt is now round 2. Everyone is up and has a full round of actions to complete their desired moves and attacks and buffs this round. Please see the Out of Character section for vague summary of round 1 events.

Edit: Fixed summarizing Belros attack against his opponent. Creatures that drop to o points will become unconscious or dying immediately save the heroes. Normal rules for death, dying and disabled apply to you.

Seeing that negotiations are no longer an option, Skurvin draws his crossbow. Having been bought the time needed, he switches to defense and fires at the closest threat while stepping back for distance. As he

Trying to stay away from the possibility of shooting a friend and making an uncomfortable situation, as Molrim thinks back to a time where he shot his brother in the arse, he aims at the uninjured Lizard Familiarlizard fiend. Pogar smirks to himself at the ineffectiveness of his bellow and does what he does well, attack. Stepping forward, the enlarged dwarf takes a heavy swing at the nearest victim, which happens to be the troglodyte.

Morton piles in with abandon, keen to get stuck in.

"Score one for Molrim! Can any of us catch up? Do you think these Trogs are keeping count?

Better be quick in any case, Gill is on the move.

Have at thee!"

He ploughs forward, slashing with his sword, catching one smelly thing in the shoulder.

OOCTargets the Trog who attacked him, fairly obviously.

Swift: fire up Arcane Srike (+1 damage, magic for purposes of DR)
Standard: hit Trog with sword (Power Attack)

Belros' elation at quickly dispatching his opponent is met with searing pain as one of the creature's companions pierces the cleric's side. Still confident and inspired despite the wound that he suffered, Belros ignores the pain and continues his attack upon his foes. His body aches as he raises his shield to better protect himself and attacks once more with warhammer. The wound was more troublesome than he first imagined however as he is unable to generate enough force to harm his new opponent.

Aaarrrgh! It was but a flesh wound she'd incurred but it still hurt. Faunra moves around in a tactical way, then she waves her arms about in a very gesturing manner and says a few words. Immediately, a cone of clashing colors springs forth from her hand at the hated foes. Yes, seems the elf was filled with vengeance.

And Amolas wasn't too happy either.

ActionsMove: 5' step away from the enemy that just attacked her. If possible, she'll kind of side-step and angle herself in order to hit the one who just hit her and hopefully catch additional baddies on her side of the grid (but certainly none of her meleeing companions) inside a 15' cone of...
Standard: ...Color Spray. Any Lizzie inside the cone gets a Will Save vs. DC 16.

From the SRD:

2 HD or less: The creature is unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round. (Only living creatures are knocked unconscious.)

3 or 4 HD: The creature is blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, then stunned for 1 round.

5 or more HD: The creature is stunned for 1 round.

Beginning of Round 3

Kria is the first to swath the Troglodyte in an array of vicious clawed attacks that dismantle her opponent. The extra planar outsider usually met any foe with reckless abandon and had her way of her prey. The odorous creature fell where it stood as Pogar's battle axe slashed the abdomen of a Troglodyte and the attack was too powerful even without the Dwarven Fighters full strength. The gilled war monger clutched his mid section and a gasped a final breath.

Belro's swung his war hammer proudly amidst the reaching culmination of battle. Missing, one of the remaining Troglodytes swung on his heels and lunged forward his javelin and thrust it into Morton's side. Blood began to flow from the deep wound as the feline familiar hissed with an outstretched paw ready to gouge the amphibians eyes from it's socket.

Faunra speaks the somatic components while reading the magical scripture from her spell book. Not realizing that the Lizards were chomping at the bit to get more of a piece of her, the female Elven Wizard withdrew enough from battle that she was not affected in the least by the creatures. There were a few more attacks against Molrim which missed and Belros who side stepped one of the two remaining Troglodytes.

Edit

The cold and dark subterranean cavern seemed moist and damp. The underground trickle of puddle splashed as Yargo's foot prints stamped muddied boot prints through the cavernous tunnel. This way lead out. Another way that is long and treacherous. The place was not guarded but must have been a way point for the Lizard men and Troglodytes to enter the city un apprehended or watched. It sounded like Gills decree was full out traitorous and maybe the man spoke of ill tidings to Absalom as if the city state has done something wrong. Nothing wrong, just to many un happy people joined together in a communal setting.

As Reyd the Rogue chases Yargos, you are about twelve seconds behind the man who is running and walking at a brisk pace. Finally catching up to him before he is ready to set sail with a lone boat ready to take the former living amphibians and himself to the Isle of Kortos. Keeping a mental check list of places to visit in the near future, somehow becoming involved with that situation was an adventure in and of itself. He knew someone would give chase and as you go to apprehend him, he throws the book at you and jumps into the crashing waves and Inner Sea. It will not be long before he drowns and the thought to leave him crosses your mind but saving his life might garner more coin from Adril Hestrem.

Out of CharacterPlease start actions for this round again. I should mention that I will be pretty busy this weekend during the nights Friday night and Saturday Night for several hours each night because the Wife and I are getting back into date nights for our relationship. We will be going bowling during Friday and a local hockey game Saturday. I will be on after that sometime during the pm hours of the night: )

"How bloody dare you?"

Morton is outraged at being hit but it spurs him on regardless

"Finish them, fellows! Let this be the end of them!"

Splat. He stabs the nasty thing through, but it is still coming.

The moment the battle started, Pogar was completely focused upon the battle at hand. Pogars axe slices through the Troglodyte with barely a sound, but the gasp of the dying monster. Letting the momentum of the axe move him, he spins slightly and follows through with attack on his next victim (Trog 1)

Reyd catches the heavy book with an oof as a gasp of air escapes his lungs. He can see the man casting off. Spending not more than a second in placing the book securely on the floor of the tunnel, hoping some of the other party might pick it up if he takes too long.

He jumps in after the ruffian, the cold water of the dark night washing over him, chilling him to the bone. Yargos! You won't get too far. Might as well give up now

He
Dice Swim role:
1d20+7 (1)+7 Total = 8
swims as fast as he can to try and catch up to Yargos. For a moment, its as if he's forgotten how to swim. Maybe its the cold of the water and the dead of night. Maybe its the adrenaline pumping through his veins making him disoriented. Maybe its a troglodyte spell finally catching up to him. Whatever the case, Reyd flounders in the sea. Meanwhile Yargos is getting away!

If only Reyd could catch up to him. He knew Yargos wasn't the type of person to go skinny dipping in the sea at night. That man wouldn't last long, he would wash up ashore blue and drowned. Reyd didn't want him to die like that, even if he was a greedy bastard.
