So just to make sure I have this straight, we have a Corpo and 2 Anti-Corporate Anarchists.

This is going to be Great!

A7ice, how do you feel about the net runner or nomad for a beginner?

Be mindful I am not GM here but only played CP2020 a lot.

If you are beginner with CP2020 rules, nomad is easier. Netrunner is CP's wizard, so you have an extra layer of gameplay in form of programs/deck/network.

I think Fixer is one of the types that can be played to its full potential if you have good knowledge of the system. Otherwise it always feels lacking. But that's just my opinion from my experience.
That's my usual strategy: when learning a new system, play a Fighter(-type). Working on a Solo...one thing any group can use more of is muscle.

Application
right-aligned image
Handle: Madhouse
Role: Solo

Appearance: A large (1.95 meters, 105 kgs.), bearded man with a perpetual glare in his eyes, with a penchant for dark leathers, heavy jewelry, and big guns. There's usually a lit cigar in his mouth or hands. The sides of his head are cropped close, longer on the top. He has several prominent tattoos, including on his hands, fingers, and part of his neck.

Background: Liam Holt's father was a construction supervisor hired by Richard Night to help complete the dream of a utopian city, and moved to Coronado City with his pregnant wife to work. Liam was born in Baywood-Los Osos in a nice neighborhood, and might've grown up to follow in his father's footsteps, if Night hadn't been murdered. His father was able to retain his job for a brief while, kept on by Miriam Night, as were many contractors while the dream still seemed alive.

Mob incursion, however, changed that, and Liam's father lost his job when he refused to become corrupted by the mob. As the corporations began moving in and turned Night City into a warzone, the worst of the fighting and damage went south, developing Liam's formerly-quiet neighborhood into the hellish Combat Zone. When the violence claimed his father's life, and stress, combined with depression, turned his mother into a junkie, Liam vowed to get himself and his mother out of the Combat Zone, hopefully someplace quiet and relatively clean.

First, he had to survive, though. To do this, he joined the Golden Knights gang, and learned he had a certain talent for violence. Earning his keep in the gang, he saw many friends fall to the lifestyle he'd entered, and bided his time. As soon as he was old enough, he dropped everything and enlisted with the Lazarus Group and was immediately sent to fight in the Central African Conflicts. The next year, he saw action during the Urban Unrest, then later fought in the Third Corporate War. After then participating in the European Brushfire Wars, he'd earned enough skills and money to retire and go collect his mother to get them both to safety.

Sadly, when Liam returned home, his mother was dead, killed during a drug deal gone wrong. Once Liam found out who responsible, he obtained weapons and went after the gang in charge. Some of his old gang buddies were more than happy to use the distraction and destruction to increase their turf, and moved in to support Liam's assault. Upon finding Liam amongst the ruin and devastation he'd caused, surrounded by dead bodies, one ganger remarked, "Man...this place is a madhouse! Hahaha!" Once the job was done, Liam took 'Madhouse' as his professional handle and went solo, hiring himself out to anyone who would pay. If he couldn't achieve the dream, he would become the nightmare.

Agreed, usually the best strategy. I just really like this character concept enough to consider risking it.

Handle: Hari-kari
Role: Med-Techie

Appearance: Standing at 5'3" {1.6 meters}, and weighing in somewhere under 100 lbs, Hari-kari looks like a strong wind could throw her down. But there is a fire in her green eyes that warn others not to play with this little storm. She wears her black hair cut to just a 2 inch stripe of hair down the middle, then comes it over the left side of her face, where it is long enough to mostly cover the perfectly cut scar that runs from her scalp down to her chin. Her naturally tan skin tone barely denotes her heritage, but also allows everyone to see the white healed scars that run along the inside of her forearms, especially those that crisscross her wrists.

Background: Suzanna Kim's family had never been well to do. But growing up, she had no reason to know this. Her mother and father were pillars of their community, their early kiosk had made enough money over the years that eventually they bought a store front on a sidestreet. To little Suzie, this made them rich. She always had nice clothes, and hung out with the better class of children. Sure, there was the occasional robbery. But that was normal in Night City, and was actually a sign that they were prospering. No one held up a kiosk, except deadhead junkies.

So when Suzanna enrolled in, and was accepted by one of the best medical schools on the continent, she thought nothing of it. She didn't wonder where the money to pay for it would come from. In fact, the acceptance letter said that the tuition was already paid in full. This should have made her pause. But she was so excited that she immediately signed the bottom line, and sent her acceptance reply back, no questions asked.

What she found out later, in her third year, was that her father had offered their store, their home, and everything they owned as collateral. Or if you would prefer a different corporation, we can use that instead.Militech accepted, accept they didn't want a store front, or the family apartment. Their reply offer, one that Suze would have noticed, if she had bothered to read the legalese, was Suzanna was now owned by the corporation for ten years after she graduates, with the option to buy back years of her life for §1,000,000/year.

This realization threw the young woman into a tailspin of depression, leading to multiple attempts to end her life. All of which failed, obviously, but left their mark physically and mentally. Now, having graduated near the top of her class, she works for the corporation that owns her life. And when she has the choice, she takes the the most dangerous jobs offered. She no longer wishes to kill herself, she wants someone else to do it for her. Other than that though, she is completely reliable and always puts her patients lives first.

Fixer App
right-aligned image
Handle: "DC" Derrick Malik Cannonier
Role: Fixer
Appearance
A Black American standing nearly six feet and built leaner thanks to a life of struggle and fighting, DC likes to keep it high and tight as far as his hair goes. It's clear he's spent some on making sure he's always shaped and trimmed properly, as well as keeping a clean-cut chin so there's no question he's a man that can take care of himself and look professional when it's called for. Mostly he keeps to a rather expected look for someone of the neighborhood he grew up in, with a certain air of authority and class to him to better display that he's a man that has some power and influence not only in his home district but could easily travel through numerous others without issue. Dressed primarily in a black leather jacket somewhat influenced by the Black Panthers of decades past, between the way he carries himself and the way he looks at you, you can be sure DC is someone that you both don't want to be an enemy of, but are unsure you truly want to consider an ally, even if he is known for being able to acquire just about anything Night City has to offer.

Background
Raised by his father after the overdose death of his mother when he was seven, DC is the oldest of four children, and the only one that followed in his father's footsteps. Growing up without a mother, his father both kept him close, teaching him how to survive in a world that would like nothing more than the fit him into a predetermined definition and judge him that way. He was taught to rebel, to fight, which he did quite a great deal of, but also how to stand in front of a man and show them the respect they were deserving while at the same time not betraying his own values. His father, much like he became, was a man that could acquire anything, could find anyone, and could hide anything that was too hot to be out on the streets.

When his father was arrested in a sting when he was 17, DC was left to raise his eldest younger brother, while his half-siblings still had their mother, who wanted nothing to do with the children of another woman. Thrust into being an adult, the young man handled it with ease. Calling on all of the skills his father had taught him, and using what he'd learned from all of the time spent listening in from another room while his father did business, when people came looking for the incarcerated elder man, DC stepped up to do what needed to be done. Despite his age, he showed a calmness and stoicism that few his age could claim, even when being left with more money then he could claim to have ever seen. DC had responsibilities, ones he wouldn't ignore no matter his wants.

Once his brother was old enough to work, DC got him working for a local woman that ran one of the most popular Soul Food restaurants in the district. This lasted a little while, but soon his brother was getting tossed out for being more focused on getting high than doing what was required of him. After spending time away to get him clean and getting him a new job with a Korean street food vendor, DC returned to doing his work. His brother did better this time, being able to not only keep the job but remain clean. Regular check-ins were most likely the cause of this, but that didn't mean the elder brother wasn't also working his ass off to build his business and connections.

By the time the old Korean man died, DC had carved out not only a nice little empire in his district, one that garnered him great respect, not only for what he could do for others, but also for the enrichment of the people and district, but also allowed him to travel all of Night City with a certain level of authority in numerous social and economic circles. While he knew he was looked down upon by those in the upper echelons, few were known to be as capable as the man. DC took a hit when he agreed to help his brother purchase a food truck, but deep down he knew it was would keep his brother on the straight and narrow. 'Korean Soul' wasn't the most original name, but it was very indicative of the type of fusion cuisine his brother was selling out of on a nightly basis.

DC, having grown into his own life, never seemed to put his focus on anything more than fortifying his house, one that became a refuge for those that had been oppressed by a system looking to end their lives and freedom. From this place, he could use it to grow his organization, to be ready when it was eventually time for others to come at him, to take what he has built. DC had never forgotten the mantra his father had taught him. When the time comes, it was time to plot, plan, strategize, organize, and mobilize, and from that, no one could stop him and those he stood with.
