As an extra note on diplomacy checks. A proper disposition changing diplomacy check takes 1 min or 10 rounds.

Oh I'm actually not changing dispositions. Or at least I don't think so.

I'm trying to make a "deal" - stop and you get to live. Of course that means that if you continue, you will die.

If that doesn't count, then I suppose it doesn't matter then huh?

We don't necessarily have to kill the Summoner anyway - getting an entirely new Ally (he doesn't seem to be Evil in any circumstance) is much better than just looting his body.

I am hoping we can just dispatch the Elementals and that'll convince to follow us.

Otherwise....well we do need more gear.

Aww man....

Does that mean something bad will happen to his character?

Well......with all of the followers, we don't really need any more PCs.

At the same time, it increases the "grittiness" if one of the "starting characters" just drops like a fly. Really, really scary stuff.

But of course I'm just saying. No need to kill him off if you have other plans

I don't like to simply kill off characters just because their player has left. But I will find some way to extricate him from the party before too long.

Okay, it's important to note that mindleap contingency (which you have already used) expends psionic focus when used, meaning that you can't do so this round to extend your power.

That makes sense.

What was that dwarf's build anyway? I find that you like to make highly unique builds that are still effective. Shows how good you are at Pathfinder at least.

I do love my unique builds (takes a bit of thinking to make them work, it's like min-maxing except the goal is baseline effectiveness)

The dwarf is the high priest of Orpheus, son of Hephaestus and god of artifice and preparation in his own right. His high priest embodies this with the forgemaster archetype for clerics, which I discovered makes the first and only viable High INT cleric build I've ever come up with. He specialises in having a large number of simple magical items on hand, a solution for any occasion, and the ability to create one if it is lacking.

For combat purposes he is a buffer (Relatively low WIS means low DCs and fewer spells), and a decently hardy fighter.

Ah interesting.... kind of a weird Factotum/Warlock hybrid with all of that versatility, except with Divine spells instead of Arcane spells.

Does Spellcraft 20 mean a total result of 20 (including modifiers and bonuses) or the actual die result (so only works if we roll a Natural 20).

Hmm so all of the Elementals are still alive huh? This is going swell...
