Ah it really because of the limited gold, but yea saves is a definite issue. From Disintegration to Mind Control. See if you guys can afford any Vest of Resistance - bonus to Saves are really quite useful, even for the back line.

I will be avoiding the save or dies, till I've started to gear you guys up. But remember I'll be balancing you guys as a whole CR less (Each).

Wish is a bit off limits for a witch, but there is a patron that gives miracle. I was going to go with Time to be a bit different.
I can also cover off the knowledge skill checks I think, I should have skill points to burn. Without items or skills, first cut at sheet can be seen: http://www.rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=44846. I've never done a witch before, so really open to suggestions. Maybe I went a little heavy on the metamagic feats and should dial it back a bit and go more hexes. |

I've never really like the healing patron, so I've always thought Time was an excellent flavour "Time heals all wounds" and what what.
Hexes are awesome, but probably more so at the low levels when there's a chance of running out of spells. (I can honestly say I love hexes) Also, your sheet's not public yet. Last edited by TheMystic; Dec 18th, 2013 at 04:34 AM. |

Some of their hexes are better than a lot of spells.
And here is character sheet: http://www.rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=44767

True, and they stay relevant with the scaling DCs. My strategy as a high level hedge witch would be to take situational spells, ones that might not always be useful, but just the right one will save the combat. Spend most of my time using hexes and looking for that opportunity. When battle is done convert the spells that didn't come up for healing. The Spell Hex in particular is useful. It lets you take an outmoded first level spell and turn it into an 3/day ability, but more importantly it lets you use your hex DC which should be 9 higher, essentially free Heighten Spell to higher than 9th level.
Used at just the right time (Command) or in the right way (Charm Person) can still be relevant if you could be confident of their success. Alternatively there's always flavour to go for, Forced Quiet for the crotchety librarian, Lock Gaze for when you aren't finished talking, or want to distract the target while someone sneaks past, or Reduce Person to belittle the raging orc. |

heh, sheet is now public.
I'm tossing up being un-archtyped. That said if there is no other healing, I'd better drop some hexes and go back to hedging for the extra healing ability. |

Ultimately the spells Hedge Witch gives you aren't all that directly applicable. Everything I read says that in combat healing is a bad idea and out of combat healing is best done using lots of Cure Light Wounds' usually from a wand. The real question is flavour, do you want to feel like a healer.

I added my traits... I'm 100% done with my character sheet... and I don't think that I went too far different from my original concept... just removed the gun... but the Amnesia back-story is still the same... And I think Antagonize fits in well with his amnesia back-story.
As for witch, I had one at a low level that I was planning on getting a few meta-magic feats with, and use the trait magical lineage with Burning Hands, to be able to apply intensify on it. 10d4 dice instead of 5d4 seemed good. Also took the hedge witch stuff for healing, but I did end up using my wand more often... actually ended up using it offensively as well since we ended up against so much undead. Hey guys, I just want to make sure that you guys can see all of the pieces of this. I've had issues with people not being able to see the images before. Also, @TheMystic: Is there anything else you would like to see on the stat block?
