I believe i already told you I dont know where they are taken. And by the way. Kren points at his face. This IS my mask. Doesnt matter what i wear They know I went rouge and they will be looking for me. They hear I just walked right in and some ghoul tells them i used the card I cant exactly hide. I MIGHT be able to spoof them if they just see me and pass as normal. I might not. Big maybe there. Thats why i was in the van. Go in as a victim. Steal a ghouls face. Get out with as much info and people as I can. This way is far worse then what I wanted. But then someone had to go and crash the damn van now. Didnt they? Jason knew he hadn't told everyone everything, but his secrets weren't really relevant to everyone's safety. This guy was holding out on people willing to risk it all to stop this. "So your plan was be abducted & sort it out from there? Not a good plan, but not the worst plan IF you were a random person like these others. But basically your former partners have a good chance to recognize you regardless of any disguise and you figured you'd just hope they didn't see you? And if they recognize you will it make a difference other than them knowing we are there? Cause that's a risk we already know happens if we get seen, but is there some other risk you aren't telling us? Now you said I wouldn't believe you about what is going on...try me. I got 5 bucks says I've heard crazier that is true...and note I didn't flinch at your angel reference, I've heard of similar."

Kren was mad but it was doing nothing.
Thus guy thought he knew about angels. He was an idiot as far a Kren is concerned. As fun as arguing with you is. Its not why im here. I have told you the risks. The angels dont normally hang around here more the they have to. You wanted to get involved. Here you are. I had a plan. Its ruined and now even more people are involved then I wanted. So do you have any suggestions? Anything constructive to add? Because at this point we are wasting time. Last edited by mjb; Jun 3rd, 2017 at 04:58 AM. |

Dan looked out unto the compound and began to scratch the window. He wasn't sure who or what to believe. Up until now he didn't even know he was a werewolf; but he thought Jason had a point and he also thought that if Kren was one of them, he would have just called for more firepower and wiped out everyone.
"There seems to be two choices: We trust Kren and find out why we were kidnapped, or turn back. I don't know about anyone else, but after changing into a giant dog, I don't have anything to go back to. So, I'm in. Jason, how about you?"

Elijah is quite speechless when seeing Jason and Kren are bickering. It looks like Kren was working under the same group that they want to topple. Nevertheless the question is quite actual : What they should do with the people that were suffering? If they go public about it, then there would be a storm in community. And at that moment, there would be retaliation from vampires. Maybe just like Underworld movie.
Elijah says : "I am in as well. I want to find out and maybe safely escort the girl that I am looking for safely. What should we do with the rest though?" And then Elijah texting his employee :

"If you guys are done, I say onwards and upwards." Calliope said. She'd spent the time the others spent bickering rummaging through her pockets, pulling out her coin, but also a small stick of polished and gnarled black wood, a crystal set in the end. It is in fact, undeniably, a wand.
"Okay guys, huddle. I'm pretty hurt, so if you don't mind, I'll hang towards the back, but I can give us some good luck. It sounds like we're gonna need it." She kisses the coin and flips it. Last edited by Ratpigeon; Jun 6th, 2017 at 12:38 AM. |

Having received various responses, all consenting, Kren knew They could continue.
Right, Like I said. I can actually drive us in there. Guard probably still thinks on on his side. The ghouls wont question us since im so far above their pay-grade and you are all new recruits. But once the angels hear the name 'Kren' (My real name btw) They will be on us. They don't normally hang around but may be there. Otherwise we could go in captured. Some of us at least, like I had planned to. I know I at least could get out. I could take a ghouls face and be him for a bit. Less risk of an angel finding me out that way. They would have to think to check some random prisoner and even then I might be able to hide. He fished a piece of loose paper, that was probably the SUV's insurance, out of the glove box flipped it over and drew a rough map of the facility. The ones in the worst condition will be at the bottom. They will be draining them and that's where the vampires haven is. The prisoners who might be conscious will be one floor up on the third. We could find another van try to fit them into it for the way out. Otherwise I could put the ones in the bottom in for 'disposal' and drive them out. Second floor is offices. They are mostly empty. Unless you want to try to dig in and have a siege or hide there Im not sure we should bother. I don't want to fight. Unless Danny over here suddenly learns to harness his inner murder wolf we are outmatched and innocents will be right in our cross hairs. He handed the map around. I marked the service elevator which is big enough for a van. There are also stairs. I don't know how many prisoners they have on the third floor. But considering we disrupted one of tonights deliveries. Likely not to many. So let's plan. Last edited by mjb; Jun 6th, 2017 at 03:21 AM. |

Dropping the argument for now he chimes in. "So if the angles don't get involved how out gunned are we? Cause that makes a difference how much we risk you going in as you. If without them there is a good chance we can take out all the vamps then I vote slave option. If no matter what it'll be hell of a ride out might as well get in the easiest way as recruits & hope for the best. He pauses a second. Actually funny question, is it if the angels hear your name or do the have a sense for specifically your name? As in if you say it with bad pronunciation will they still notice it? How smart are these other guys? If you pretend to give us a fake name would they play along? Say I call you Bob or something and you answer and signal them to not correct me. Then there is less risk your name is said."

Kren raised an eyebrow.
It's not so much that my name has power. It's more like the angels aren't idiots and if the minions say something like 'Hey, Kren is here!' when they are around to hear it then Im screwed. As long as I don't use anything clearly not human they wont notice me otherwise. They would have gotten the memo the moment I bailed. On the top floor we can expect 3-4 humans or ghouls. It's also where we grab a van if we need one, it's where the vehicles are kept, we just need to get keys. Once we go lower there isn't so much an increase in security. It's just that the people we have to deal with get more competent and intelligent. Marginally intelligent Last edited by mjb; Jun 7th, 2017 at 02:56 AM. |

"Ok I wasn't sure how things worked your version of angels, basically they have to find out you're there like a normal person would...good I hate semi-omnipotent beings. I say we try the fake our way in, less resistance ... or the longer we can delay giving ourselves away the better."

"The real question is, can Angels be killed?" Calliope muses, staring at the building. "If they aren't something we can at least try to beat, then getting them involved means this entire gambit is automatically belly-up. I fancy myself a dab hand at probability, so lets pitch some numbers. Call it thirty percent chance the angels get involved if we use your name, forty percent chance we get out clean and thirty percent it ends up in a fight. If we try to sneak in... I really don't see any chance that we can sneak in and get everyone out without tripping the alarms. So if we sneak in, its a fight. Call it... fifty-fifty we can win a fight with no angels. Then, actually, even if we have no chance against the angels, trying to lie our way past the ghouls is marginally more likely to work, or so close not to make a difference. And I can give you all kinds of an edge on lying." Calliope grins, wolfish even when standing next to a man who literally turned into one not even an hour ago.

"Kinda depends on which type and how powerful. If it's a Qashmallim, which is the kind I know the most about, they can range from nuisance to unbeatable. I don't want to speak for his type as I've gathered there are at least 4 types of 'angels' in the world, only two of which I've even heard much about." He air quotes angels

Angels can be destroyed. They are made to fit each of them a specific purpose so they vary in their type and form quite a bit but most of them are sort of like spirits with bodies. If you know what I mean by spirits. Not exactly ghosts but kinda similar in that they use essence for their powers and have bans and banes that can be exploited. I'm worried mostly that they might have included a hunter angel in their group in case they ever found me. Personally I think we might have a chance at this without fighting everyone. Especially if you can help me with lying. I figure we pick up a van. Take it to the bottom. Spin some yarn about how we just got a massive haul of new blood bags so we need to clear out the used ones early to make room. We put them in the van. Go up a level. Free those ones if they are there. Keep our eyes out for any proof of where people are taken and then go up top and gun it. The angels Im actually worried about are this one guy who works like a warning system. He can only manifest near a power source and cant tolerate any loud noises. Like 20 000 Hz above 85 decibels. I think. Stuff got kind of fuzzy after my defection. He is dangerous but more of a warning system for when things go wrong. Im worried about Black Nathaniel. If I thought that he would actually be here I wouldn't have come. We would need white marble for him. Truth is we most likely can't win with or without it. The danger is Rasha, the snitch, warns Nathaniel. We leave as soon as that happens regardless of who we have managed to save or we die.

"Sounds similar the ones I know about. Made for a purpose, do the thing, then disappear. Sometimes look like people, sometimes look like fiery spector things.
Plan sound good to me. "He looks to Calliope and sighs speaking to the group. "And if need be I can probably make the minions come after me more than your guys.... they'll probably try run me out & kill me.... so you might need to clear anything in the way & pick me up quick. And if I do the thing to make them hate, just be ready cause it might make you feel like you shouldn't like me too; but seeing as you aren't throwing me out of the car already I think you'all might not be as susceptible to my condition. " He turns to speak fully to Calliope "You say you deal in Time & Fate. I assume you can't just go back in time or you would have already done so. Can you like check our future to see if the angels are there or if we have any problems?" |
