Question 1So, who were you? How old you were, what career you followed, etc.

A: Charles Eddington, 53 years old, Vice President of the United States of America.

Question 2What killed you, was it fast and surprising or slow and awaited?

A: A bullet between the eyes. It doesn't get much faster than that, as you can imagine. One minute, I was walking down the red carpet. The next, it was like my very soul had been knocked out of my body. That's not far from accurate, apparenty.

Question 3What mattered to you more than anything? Three people, places, or things.

A: My career probably mattered to me more than anything. I'd sacrificed a lot in my lifetime to make it, and I hoped to see myself at the top of the ladder sooner than later.

I had a family, and they mattered to me, of course. A wife, two children. My wife's decided to remain a widow. That's her call. The country's supporting her, and I'm glad for that. My boys, they're grown and they're doing fine, if grieving in their own way. I avoid them, because they deserve the chance to heal without my interference.

My immortal soul does matter to me, too, even if this new "state of being" leaves me with some questions about the Bible. I was always a God fearing man. Now, I wonder if God took issue with my life in some way. Believe it or not, there's such a thing as a good, honest politician. I put my everything into keeping my country safe, and maybe I thought that did some good for my spirit along the way.

Question 4How did people react to your dying? How do they remember you?

A: It's always a big deal when a noteworthy politician dies. There's nothing quite like watching your own state funeral procession toward the Capital building. People came to honor my corpse in the rotunda, never realizing that I was standing right there. Part of me was, anyway. The country's grieved. It pisses me off a little to know that I was appreciated enough to reach the top, and then some terrorist put a bullet in my head. Maybe he saw that I was headed for the Presidency, too, and he didn't like me as much as I like myself.

My wife remembers me fondly. I did my best by her, and I can understand her choice to remain a widow. I'll never begrudge her the chance to remarry, but she just doesn't seem to have the heart for it. My sons are both grown, and they're mourning in their own reserved ways.

The President seems to be relieved. I'm guessing it's because he doesn't have to worry about my pressing him to step down. People don't tend to know as much about the President's health - or bad health, in this case - as they realize. He's really sweating it.

Question 5What did you believe about death before it came for you?

A: The Bible was the manual to the hereafter, as far as I knew. God created the Earth in seven days, Jesus came along and righted wrongs, and those of us who lived by his example would be blessed with paradise after death. This isn't my idea of paradise, so I wonder about it all. Maybe the work I had to do to achieve what I did wasn't appreciated. Maybe I'm being given a chance to set things right by bringing my killer to justice. Who am I to say?

Hiya. Until now, I had never heard of WoD. But it looks pretty cool! Would you be willing to accept a new player? Looking at the sheets, they are a tad different from Pathfinder or DnD, but I learn pretty quick.

Yeah, new players are welcome as long as they try.

Okay, having skimmed over the rulebook I can say that I understand slightly better. I still have a few questions though. Does this game involve alignment or classes? What is the goal of the game?

Karen JonesName: Karen Jones.
Age: 38.
So, who were you? How old you were, what career you followed, etc.
Karen Jones was a 38 year old restaurant employee. She lived in the suburbs with her husband of 16 years Marc and her 4 kids, Michael (15) , Michelle, (12) Mary (8) and Monica (5). Her life wasn't really notable to anyone but her friends and family. Marc was a security guard at the local casino, and her son Michael was an aspiring engineer.

What killed you, was it fast and surprising or slow and awaited?
Karen died was killed when she fell into a dam before her family's eyes. They were walking home when she tripped and fell into the current. It dragged her under the dam, and her last moments were those of fear.

What mattered to you more than anything? Three people, places, or things.
1. The safety and happiness of her family.
2. Tradition/Religion.
3. The integral role she played within the Cranberry County PTA.

How did people react to your dying? How do they remember you?
After watching his wife die before his eyes, Marc found it hard to concentrate on his job. Lately he has been slacking off, drinking too much, and might end up loosing his job. He had a bad past with things worse than alcohol, and he might get back into those things without help. Michael seems virtually unaffected, but he's bottling up his emotions- and when he bursts someone might get hurt. Michelle has been getting in with the wrong crowd of people, they have been taking advantage of her new rebelling. Mary has been taking out all of her emotions on poor little Monica, who doesn't fully understand that her mommy isn't coming back.

What did you believe about death before it came for you?
Karen was sure that there was a heaven, and she still is. Getting there might be another story- but she knows this is just another temptation to sin, and she will give whatever she's got to not fall into corruption.

Hopefully, this is still open. I went through all of my books in storage and found my old Wraith book.
