June found a lot of gamers writing some great posts. I believe we had NINE or so nominations for Post of the Month, which is always nice. Makes for a lively discussion among the judges, sometimes even a swordfight or two (we use rubber swords, so no judges are actually hurt, just our pride. But hey... we don't have much pride to start with, so...)

None-the-less, the battles behind the scenes produced a winner, and this month, that winner is Sassafrass!

Sass is a known excellent writer, having been nominated and won in years past. This time, Sass returns to the contest in top form with a wonderful bit of prose. I have to say, if the first three lines don't hook you and pull you in, you need a tune-up.
