How are you rolling HP?
Also, could I swap out my Dwarvish language for Abyssal and Draconic as per a Yuan Ti? No worries if not, I can always RP that Bug is always bewildered when he ends up speaking dwarvish.

@Azure Nokori, Yoshimi, DrewW: Once you're all set up, I pop a post up for the three of you to keep you entertained until the other group's mission is complete. Then we'll merge everyone together

@Azure Nokori, Yoshimi, DrewW: I've popped an Interlude thread into the game for you, so you've got something to do while we wait. https://www.rpgcrossing.com/showthre...90#post9939790
@Everyone: We need to do a refresh of the inter-character relationships! I'll be back with the plan for this shortly ![]()

@Everyone: Hi team! I've cleaned up the charts at https://www.rpgcrossing.com/showthre...45#post9829045
Now I just need to ask if everyone can help me update the relationships stuff! How do does your PC feel about the others? Are they friends? Haven't hung out much? Up to you!

I will put out some draft ideas, not knowing everyone very well yet.
I'd picture that Keg lived in the tavern guest room for a while before having a house. He'd have gotten to know the others there, and to join in conversations where he asked a lot of questions and learned to cope with the food which is so different than what he is used to. Which is lots of seaweed and sea animals. If he's a forager, he'd have brought stuff back to Kiarra to earn his keep at the tavern. Probably stuff she didn't want at first. Like delicious lichens. But he would have come to be interested in talking to her about it. He eventually would develop concern about the human villagers, to the point of condescension as he feels his way of life makes more sense than theirs. They would appear industrious for the sake of being industrious, without proper knowledge and respect for the gods of this land. He probably would clash a bit with Rana's style, as she is so practical and he is more spiritual. Maybe some good arguments, but interest in the other's point of view too. He would feel most kinship with Martim and would enjoy spending time in silence out in the surrounding environs with him, whether foraging or patrolling. Maybe occasionally discussing philosophy and Matrim's oaths and coming to understand each other. Keg would also appreciate and bond with Gideon as another very foreign entity in this land, and one who likely does ascribe some deeper meaning to his work, having once been property and now being free. I think he would distrust Bug instinctively since there is something out of place about the dwarf, if Azure Nokori wouldn't take personal offense at a slightly adversarial footing at first. We've been in other fun games together so I think we could pull it off without hard feelings. Those are my first thoughts but if anyone thinks I'm way off base and got your character wrong, I won't take offense and will edit accordingly.

Bug will take the post of village doctor. More orthopedics rather than internal medicine. It’ll be a good chance to do good for the soft-skins, even if their atonomy if kinda weird.
I think Bug would probably be a bit weary of Gideon and Keg. Don’t think he’d see too many warforged or artificers in the Yuan Ti colonies. So I think Yoshimi’s idea can work nicely. I think it would be fun if he can confide his secret to someone, but they don’t actually believe him. Maybe they think he’s gone a little snowcrazy… My sheet

Monks would make brandy out of lichens, and eat them. So that works for me. The brew master in the tavern could discover their use. Kirra would know Keg pretty well then.
Kirra is has learned to heal with her ki. So Bug might have a use for that. Either way he would have plenty of drunk patrons to look after from the Inn. From brawls to cuts with a slip of cutlery. Playing off the idea of them telling their secret to someone. If they told Kirra she would just think they were drunk and cut them off for the night haha.
