Going to repeat my dumb suggestion from the OOC of my post: We could try walking it home with animal handling or a leash. : P

But probably dividing it up head, 4 limbs (including shoulders and flanks), body, is the best idea in terms of dividing the weight into amounts draggable by each of us.

For a bit a of back story...
The Goblins of Goblinton tend to eat every part of a kill, including the skin and internal organs. Goblins are not fussy creatures. Sure the Bugbears and those who made the kill get the best meat but the other Goblins of Goblinton won't get much if you leave the more undesirable parts behind.

* It is up to you how you do this but I wanted to let you know what your characters would understand.

If you take everything back to Meatz then more goblins get food, if you leave parts of it behind then some gobbos who would have gotten food will not.

Atleast that is what the general population thinks Hunters always bring their kills to Meatz and he cuts it and distributes it. If you want you can start to eat it all your selves and keep on looking. Meat is a kind of tax system in your Socialist city of Goblinton

We don't have a blade to carve it with.

Are we resisting the urge to take it back whole? It would make a much bigger impression if we were to march the whole thing right down to the middle of Goblinton.

Or use Bratr's suggestion of riding it home...

Gee if only I could get everything out in one post I'm sure life would be easier for you lot.

Bratr Zorb will now have two permanent scars on his left side from the Boar's tusks, the lower scar is the larger more impressive scar. You can decide where abouts and how big they are. If people can see your scars it gives you advantage to Intimidation checks.

This is a mechanic we will play. If you are dropped to zero hit points then you are left with a nasty scar.

Not sure the riding idea will work. Don't really have much along the lines of rope plus I would imagine the handle animal DC would be crazy high since we beat the snot outta it.

Woo! Scars. Zorb is going to be a scary dude.

As for taking the boar back, I think maybe we could drag/carry it back if we all work together.

What about this? Maybe those with Survival can find workable vines in the forest. We can then use the vines to tie a couple of spears together to fashion a long pole (or just find a pole in the forest). We then tie the boar to the pole, and march it home. It is a Medium creature. Two Small creatures can carry it, six would probably make it easier.

Maybe then the Bugbears can equip us better to hunt and bring home a bear, which is a Large creature.

I like it. Like Ewoks carrying a hog-tied Luke and company to their village for a feast.

Alright, just to make things interesting, I'll roll to see if Iggy can make sense of her own spell...

Dice Wisdom check:
1d20+4sch10 (2)+4 Total = 6

Ha! Looks like the forest will just be farting at us, gobbos! ^_^

That is a great idea, just make sure to mention it in the game thread

She's thinking it and doing it in-game, but she's too distracted by the results of her weather prediction to voice it aloud. She's doing it on instinct.

Question: Are our spears long enough to go lengthwise through the boar like a spit, or do we want to stab it with two spears, one through the neck/shoulder area and one through the flanks and have 4 of us carry it?

Huh. Good point. I was imagining the Spear from the 300 movie, but then again, we be Goblins.

I would say if a regular spear is roughly 6 ft. it shouldn't be a problem...
