No one objected to my proposal of the 48-hour rule, so my understanding is that it's on...

Are there still two sharks? Tough ones, if so...

Yep there's still two. Lots of hp but low ac. They're deadlier if your in the water.

What size are those sharks? Medium, large, huge or gargantuan?

Owl Help again to Confor, who seems to be the big hitter.
delpinator, please note that Duha is flying out of reach, with Flyby, after giving the Help. |

Posted for Briggs, who landed a mean hit. Apparently Duha should have been helping him - 1d10+4 plus 2d6!

Thanks for helping out on that, was getting a bit behind grading finals!

@delpinator:
Feel free to skip Cha-kra's current turn once you find the time for your next GM update. I am currently very delayed and have a lot of catching up to do because of Outplay, but in this particular round of posts Cha-kra would not be doing anything meaningful despite demonstrating his established behavior. So there is no good reason to wait for me. ![]()

I found something to do for Cha-kra, and he even rolled a critical success on his perception. Lucky!
![]() @edit: Not that I'd expect him to understand more than Duha, but Cha-kra and owl familiars have been at odds for a while now. ![]()

delpinator, I'm unclear on the positioning of things. I thought the creatures were on a reef or something between the ship and the beach, but now I'm not sure. And are the PCs taking a dinghy to the beach, or...? I'm trying to understand exactly when in the process of landing the creatures might be able to engage the PCs.
I'd also like Arrogaio to try to identify these creatures. He has a +4 Arcana or a +2 Nature to add to this raw roll: Dice Roll:

the technical term for them are sea spawn though they have adapted to their environment. the beach is past the rocks. a reef might be a good description of it. you're in the ocean 60' out you have the sharp rocks. 40' past and randomly decrease to the shore are the large rocks. the distance might be a little off but close enough. The rocks begin at about 20' at the tallest.

Does the captain expect us to swim? Cha-kra hates swimming.

Is this really the best and only spot to land on the island? We are running directly into the next fight on difficult terrain. Who of us can swim (with armor) and fight in water? That's not realistic.
Rhazor would normally refuse to do this. He might do this anyway, but just for the plot.
