Description: Dimin has the physical build of a typical dwarf. His movements are strong and simple, yet he has almost a dancer’s touch to his gait; which comes in the form of a slight hop. His voice is gnarled and unwelcoming. Dimin has cardinal red hair that falls just below his shoulders. He has a large jawline, solid forehead and strong cheekbones that rest within a square shape face. In typical dwarven fashion, he has one central braid that centers on his chin and two smaller braids that fall just below his ears. He has a single scar running diagonally across his hawkish nose with wide nostrils and two parallel scars running beneath his left eye across his cheek to his clean shaven upper lip. His eyes are almond shape with brownish orange pupils. He emits an aroma of coal smoke forged with onions.

He has fiery brownish skin, marbled with yellowish white dots, covered by the soft natural brown colors of his armor. His chest and back are protected by a cuirass that is formed from palm sized hexagon plates of stone, horn and bone attached to each other by small thick cord and sewn to a layer of soft leather. His shoulders, arms, back of hands, thighs and shins are similarly protected by separate pieces of armor made with smaller sized plates. Separating his skin from the armor are undergarments matching his stone-grey cloak.

On his forearms and thighs are sheaths containing wooden and iron spikes. On his hip is a wide belt that supports two quivers, sprouting colorful fletching of arrows, and a few thick pouches. Peeking out over his right shoulder is an unstrung bow. Quick release straps run from his back over his shoulders and under his arms supporting a backpack loaded with supplies and equipment.

Dimin, while young, was the dwarf that when working on a project became so focused that he ignored his surroundings and those within. This has not changed. He prides himself on his attention to detail but frustrates his peers as he will check upon their work to make sure it is done correctly. He has accepted that he is an overly organized individual but strongly believes each belonging has their own designated spot. He structures out the next day each night. He even considers most of his thoughts before speaking. However, he also realizes life can get in the way and so tries to be flexible when his timeline is deviated.

Dimin views all that he does as a reflection of his family’s teaching. He works hard and when his work is done he plays even harder. He is reserved in social situations but around a small group of friends or peers he can be seen singing, drinking, eating and discussing a variety of topics. He is cautious around strangers until he sees that they are capable of living up to their word. He is slow to anger and won’t be the first to strike. Yet if he or a friend are about to be hurt he is quick to defend with words or weapon.

He is a thrifty individual who lives by his mother’s moto try to get the best for the least. Yet is quite giving as he adopted an edict of his own; be the first to share what one has. Dimin is inquisitive about the things around him. Always asking questions and willing to listen to others response. However, he will only accept 'things' after he has seen proof.

Dimin has been invited to join his uncle Bort on his latest caravan run.

Personality: Jargen personality revolves around the hunt. He has worked hard at not being seen, hopefully ignored, and has not revealed anything to anyone about his past. As an individual, he quests for knowledge and skills to make him more self-reliant. Jargen studies and emulates nature and feels he is becoming an apex predator.

Jargen understands that life requires death, predators need prey, and ideas can cause conflicts. He views his life as a commodity and he does not hesitate to keep his intact. Deep down he feels his imprint on this world will be nonexistent as he has no real purpose or plan, at the moment, except to survive.

Background: Jargen was raised in a typical dwarf fashion. He learned the weapons. He learned the crafts. He excelled in each. Precious metals are a commodity within the dwarven community. Dwarves revered these metals and it is always in the back of their minds. Unfortunately for Jargen he has this ability to smell the metals. Everywhere he goes their smells penetrate his thoughts. Metals became his addiction. This caused issues. He took to the outdoors. Learned the ways of nature and felt at peace. However, the metals still called to him and there came an agreement that he would leave.

Jargen moved to a human city. He set up a small shop. He made a decent living for a few full moons. As he learned the city he also could smell where the riches recided. His addiction rose. He met the wrong individuals. He was like a hunting dog. He led, pointed and the others took. Things got to hot. He left the city. He moved to a small village far from any city. Again focused on nature. The addiction grew and he moved on to another city. Rinse and repeat.

Jargen decided to embrace the addiction rather than avoid it. He has heard of one place where great riches are waiting. One only had to survive. Rappan Athuk.


Roleplay: They rose from the sewers inside the walls. The goblin, dressed in dark clothes with pads on his knees and elbows, led. The goblin was quiet and used the shadows well. Jargen physical makeup shifted as took on the slight appearance of an owl, he smiled as he, the second, followed with equal skill. They stopped and leaned against a stone wall. He sniffed and smelled what appeared to be a few coins. Two silver. Jargen signalled the others. Pointed to the corner. They froze. A guard walked out from the corner and away. Patrolling the grounds.

The goblin led them on. Found the window and with a small tool cut through it and slipped through. A few breathes later opened a door a dagger throw away. Jargen was the first through nodding to the goblin as he stepped in. The other three followed. Jargen led the way. They all had memorized the layout. However, Jargen would be the one who would find the coins. Jargen moved slowly as he would take thirty steps stop and sniff. No need to rush. The nobles were at their summer home. Just a few guards to avoid.

At first the smell was faint. So faint. Only a hint. Twice he had to circle back. The smell became strong. He pointed to doors. Jargen stepped back as he allowed another to step forward. A half-elven mage. Jargen wiggled his fingers and cast a spell. He looked at the door and spotted a light aura of magic circling the door frame. The mage signalled to the others about the magic on the door as he pulled out a small wand. Jargen watched as the aura faded away.

The big guy stepped up and opened the door. The room was made for comfort. A few plush chairs and a couch. A few small tables and one large. A shelf full of books. A fireplace. Jargen didn’t have to sniff anymore the smelled overwhelmed. He knew where the coins were. Jargen pointed.

The bells rang. The group looked at each other. They were prepared for this. Jargen shifted again taking on the slight appearance of a stag. One of the others took the lead as they hurried out of the room and down the hall. Shouts and footsteps could be heard behind them. They moved as a group. If one got pinched. Eventually they all would get pinched.

A few days later Jargen was far from the city still looking over his shoulders.

Personality: Tsa’usk is a different humanoid when in a one on one setting versus in a group setting. In a group setting, Tsa’usk has a defined personal space, perceives everyone as a threat, and tries to remain emotionless. If by accident Tsa’usk lets out an emotional response, such as a laugh or a growl, to any situation he gets very angry, which he internalizes, and will then verbally shutdown. In a one on one setting Tsa’usk will show mercy or compassion. He will be comfortable showing his emotion and has a hearty laugh. Tsa’usk views any physical conflict as one would view a religious experience and he will go out of his way to start one.

Physical Features: Tsa’usk has an oblong face whose forehead sprouts a widow’s peak that points down to his snub nose. He has blackish stone dreadlocks braided, with discs of spinal bone, secured behind his slightly pointed ears. His heavy brows cover almond shape amber colored eyes. His chiseled jawline produces his only facial hair in the form of a bristly chinstrap. Four teeth protrude upwards from the edges of a wide mouth with a thin upper lip and thick lower lip. Tsa’usk head is supported by a dense neck, powerful build starting off with broad shoulders, firm stomach, well-muscled limbs and thick fingers. His tattooed skin is greenish gray and that, when produces pools of sweat, emanates a distinct vinegar, mixed with honeydew, odor.

Light RP Sample: Tsa’usk’s nodded his head with pride. His Dagger Foots, Lusk and Kigg, were agile and active with strong stamina. They had the intelligence for this work and were highly motivated. His connection with the Dagger Foots have minimized their desire to treat the young Mace Tails as prey while still maintaining their hunting skills, allowing them to help him train the mace tails to be combat mounts. He shifted his weight on his saddle, one specially made to fit on the back of Mace Tails, his knees pressuring into Buub, his Mace Tail mount, communicating what he wanted. He had trained this mount since it hatched from an egg and it reacted to his touch immediately.

The hardest part of his training with the Mace Tails was to get them to break back down from combat. Tsa’usk growled with approval as these creatures were just as stubborn and ferocious as he. He bellowed in orc Oltha! Commanding a younger Mace Tail to defend him and his mount.

He closed his eyes, opened them again, this time peering out from Lusks eyes as his Dagger Foot was trying to sneak past. The younger Mace Tail shifted his position stepping between the Dagger Foot and Tsa’usk. Well, his body. It was only a glance but he could see himself on Buub. Always weird seeing himself. Quick movement and Lusk eyes spotted his alpha, Kigg, charging in from a different angle. The younger Mace Tail shifted again.

Tsa’usk open his own eyes and yelled to his Dagger Foots telling them to break off. The young Mace Tail had proven he would defend on command. His training successful. Sha! he yelled and young Mace Tail came rumbling over towards him. Tsa’usk knees moved again and he led Buub to the stalls as the young Mace Tail followed.

Now to test the other two.

AppearanceJamin’s long thick mane of fiery orange hair, with streaks of red, encompasses his head, jawline and cheeks while obscuring his dagger shaped ears. His arms, legs and torso, covered in soft lightly colored brownish orange fur, marbled with cherry red spots, are comparable to a small human, a few inches over five feet. His movements are strong and simple with an distinguishable gait due to his hand-like feet. He has a soft, breathy voice with a slight hoo sound following the end of most sentences. His visible skin, promoted by his long fingers, palms, finger-like toes, soles of his feet, a triangle face comprising of a flat nose, short bridge rounded tip and wide nostrils, and protruding muzzle with a wide mouth, is dark raven blue. He has almond shaped pale violet eyes that gaze curiously out from underneath thick bushy eyebrows. Jamin emits an odd aroma of mint with a hint of lavender. Violet colored ribbons of various lengths flow from his head, weapons and clothing.
 

Jamin wears a dark blue hooded one piece with sleeveless top, extended shoulders and pleated skirt-like trousers. His chest and back are protected by a breastplate. His shoulders, arms, back of hands, thighs and shins are protected by separate pieces of armor made with small sized hexagon plates of silver metal attached to each other by small thick cord and sewn to a layer of soft leather still supporting fur. This armor affords fortification without restricting his movements. The armor pieces sit over a shirt of interwoven cord which rests on top of a tight quilt like snakeskin shirt.

 


On his forearms and thighs are sheaths, created from the leather of bats, containing wooden and iron spikes. On his hip is a wide belt, put together from multiple types of leather, that supports a two quivers, sprouting colorful fletching of arrows, and a few thick pouches. Peeking out over his right shoulder is an unstrung bow made from horns along with a long hilt of a thin sword. His outfit also includes a small backpack secured on a quick released webbed vest made of several pouches and straps, cut thin, made from a flexible leather.



PersonalityJamin is creature of relentless motion. If he is not talking, he is moving about fiddling, cleaning, or crafting; most often doing both. Jamin is a passionate individual; charitable with his laugh and smile, quick to show anger, and easy to shed tears; mainly towards events that deal with animals and the young rather than with adults. Jamin is a relatively cautious person which has carried over to his social life. He is fast at making acquaintances but slow in making friends. Finally, Jamin can be headstrong and has his own ideas on what is righteous.

BackgroundJamin believes he was around three years of age when he had first felt that he was different than the rest of his family and troop. It wasn’t until a few years later that he figured it out as he came across intelligent humanoids.

These humanoids took him under their wing and taught him their language and the use of tools. Jamin soon learned the humanoids called themselves Elves. The Elves called his family monkeys and that he was one of the rare creatures to have ascended. During this time he found another difference from him and his family; he was able to shift his size.

Jamin now able to shift to the same size of the Elves allowed them to advance their training. They taught him how to use weapons, along with the basic teaching of nature’s magic. He learned a few spells and how to adjust his body to match various animals characteristics. Yet, this path didn’t feel right.

The Elves adjusted his training having him focus on fighting with a longbow and then as he moved in closer to switch to a long two handed blade. He learned how to track, differentiate between the multitude of plants and their uses, how to heal, and they introduced him to various crafts.

As the seasons went by Jamin continued his ability to modify his body; now not only could he adjust his body to match certain animal characteristics but he was able to adjust it with the elementals. The Elves took him to the rivers, lakes and seas where he began to form bonds with a selected group of individuals and his voice allowed him to rally them in specific situations.

Even though he was grateful to the Elves he never truly felt at home with them. He left and as he travelled the countryside he eventually ran into others like himself; Awakened.
