Skipping book one in a Pathfinder AP

Pretty much what the title says. Anyone have recommendations for an official Pathfinder AP that could start at the second book without missing too much or require much in the way of alterations? Or even a non Paizo AP that starts at level 3+.

If your certain of what you're getting into, I'd recommend starting any adventure Path in the first volume. All of them open with some lightweight encounters to get the PCs through the first few levels... you can just draw on the resources from later in that first volume (which usually goes to level 5 or 6) to increase the challenge if needed. That way you don't miss any of the plot line b/c they all start at level 1 and go 16+

Gosh, I'm late to the party. But my recommendation would be less to skip through an entire book and more consider just skipping certain sections of an adventure path. I've been running Wrath of the Righteous for a while, and playing in Rise of the Runelords. In both cases, there's a fair amount of material that is less "contributing to the overall story" and more "We need to make sure players kill X monsters to get Y experience."

Not sure where each book starts or ends. But from seeing most of Giant Slayer it seems that you could have had book 1 happen but the party went down in a blaze of glory. So the events of book one happened but your advanced characters are there to avenge the Heroes of whatever battle and carry on the good work.

In Giant Slayer at least, book 1 IIRC is essentially you go, kill a strong hold, find the location of the next strong hold, go back to starting town. So it would be fine for the first strong hold to be ignored or destroyed and you just start off with the letters and things that you would have gotten in book 1 (so knowing that you need to go into the mountains or whatever).
