And finally, Alex, I can't find how clerics can channel energy into a shield. I gave it to you this time otherwise you would have been a bloody mess next to Carroway. Can you point me to that ability?

Carroway needs to make a constitution check DC 10 (-2 penalty). Which relates to Azura question--he is -2 (or -3 if he fails that check).

At this point (Jaya's more than likely prone, again) Asura might think about letting them go.

Although, if you're a gambling woman, those magic missiles have to start hitting harder sooner or later.

I'm not sayin exactly what the gangers will do, but so far, they have shown an extreme desire to escape. It's no joy for them to kill 5/6ths of the PCs if they risk dying too. Of course as Moradin surmises, they want to escape, contact the guard and tell some tall tale so the guard kills or arrests you.
So far, Bareris blocked the door so they could not escape that way, then you all shot them full of arrows making them turn, then you blocked their way, then you decided to not let them pass.
Of course, they might be tired of it all and have their blood up and may now want to just go down in a blaze of glory. But if you aren't blocking their path, there is a chance they will just finish disembowling Moradin and Jaya and run out the door .

Just sayin.

On that note, welcom Statutory Plum to the game. Since you did not let Ysurin die in a pool of his own blood, we have a new player. He was the last cut on the applicants so I used him as a plot device so as you all would not get slaughtered in the basement study.
